I've started having severe anxiety

Hello, I always had a low self-esteem but only recently I have started freaking out so bad that I cannot control my body anymore. This pandemic ruined my whole career plan and now I'm stuck somewhere I have no control over.

Everytime I see a opportunity, I start freaking out. The fear of failure, that I'm not enough.. I feel I'll lose the opportunity. My leg starts shaking, heart's beating fasting. My hands are shaking while I'm writing this. My head feels heavy holding in tears.

Yesterday I talked to a listener and it was very helpful. The listener suggested to focus on the present. Focus on today. I feel I'm a failure even today. I feel ashamed to say that a day after I'm falling out again.

There has been this positivity inside me all the time and it makes me crumble now that I have become this person in the present.

@philosophicalPerson908 Sending you positive vibes and healing energy. The challenges this time presents are different for everyone. I'm so glad that you recognize that you're having anxious thoughts that are affecting your body. When you start to feel nervous, shakey, and uneasy take some deep breaths from deep within your belly. This simple action can regulate your heartbeat and send a wave of calm over you. I hope that you'll continue to reach out and talk about how you're feeling. Take one day at a time and try not to be critical of yourself when you feel like you've fallen off the wagon. Real change takes time, you can't be expected to dissolve your anxious thoughts over night. You are so strong for recognizing your feelings. <3

you know, i can relate to some of the things you said. the fear of failure, you're at a stage where before you even try something you fear it, you don't even want to go out and do it, you just want to stay where you are because you're safe there. you don't want to go out and meet all these new people, you don't want to go out and have to do this, do that, socialize this, socialize that. i know that's the case for me. staying here, means you won't have to go through the failure you fear. and you know, i haven't moved from there yet, so i can't possibly tell you how to do it. what i can tell you, is that, sometimes, i try to pictures the AWESOME things that would happen. why would you automatically fail? i imagine that, getting my driving license would allow me to drive to so many cool places, i imagine that, starting that funeral training course thing would maybe allow me to be satisfied in a job for years to come, and maybe i'd meet amazing people too. i'm a huge introvert who doesn't like people. but sometimes we do need them. my heart beats SO loud whenever i think about the last one. because it's a career. but what if you're missing out on so many amazing things by not trying it out? is what i ask myself at times. i can't give you a miracle, i'm still there. but know you're not alone.
