I have been struggling with anxiety all my life, but recently, it has gotten a great deal worse. I have multiple panic and anxiety attacks a day. I recently sought help from a therapist and a psychiatrist, and I’ve started new meds about a little over a week ago. I know the medicine will eventually help, but I am struggling so much with it so much. I’ve been working through it, but I feel so alone. I just want to know I’m not alone and see if anyone else has any coping strategies.

Absolutely not. I have multiple panic attacks a day. I go through the cycle of " Damn I feel horrible and this ain't gonna get better" to "finally I feel calm and hopeful" and then straight back to "Damn I feel horrible". If your new to your anxiety I wish you luck and you will find your own ways to calm down with time. One coping strategy I have is to feel the anxiety for what it is, and know you'll have a calm point again. When your panicky just wait for the calm to come back and realize how you feel and that you'll feel that way again when the panic dies down. Don't think "I don't wanna panic again, but just think about the calm that will come after.

I came on here looking for support as well, like you, I have panic attacks daily and sometimes multiple times a day, sometimes I can go a couple days, weeks, months without it bothering me but also sometimes it will be persistent for a while. I'm currently going through one of those times. It's horrible... its breaking me, but I'm so happy ^^ said this. Don't say I'm scared of another attack, just think about how calm you'll feel after it's over. I love that and I'm also going to give it a try. Also other things I do is listen to guided meditation for panic attacks, run, walk outside and baths!
