Why do we fear rejection?
Mainly cause we fear facing the truth that not everybody will like us,
cause its easier to not take any risks, you see most people choose to
remain on their comfort zone, its not rejection what hurt us, what hurt
us the most is knowing the truth, its easier to remain delusional
thinking everyone likes us, and to never talk to anyone, but deep inside
this will might just humper our growth.
(note ) I wrote this thinking I could share it with others, and help others, but at the end, I relaized that is talking about me.
@okeyyyy Thanks for sharing. I find that a lot of times what I write "for others" is really a way of telling myself what I need to hear. I needed to hear your truth, too, though. I know that ultimately it comes down to self acceptance -- that others not liking or accepting me doesn't matter because I accept and like myself and that's enough. Unfortunately, I am not anchored in that truth yet. Working on it, though.
@okeyyyy
that is very true!
it always helps to understand the reasons behind our fears. thank you for putting your thoughts here
@okeyyyy
No not just, It's everyone of us, our minds are alike you know?, the only thing that differentiates is the physical form
@observeroflife I always knew that, but I keep forgeting it. I guess I get lost many times.
@okeyyyy
I understand that very well, we all do get lost some times, that's the nature of the human mind, It doesn't operate on the logical principles that we feed in daily
@okeyyyy
By the way, whatever said, I have felt the same and it definitely will help
@okeyyyy
Honestly I think you described it perfectly. And really hit me because this is how I think everyday. Thank you for posting this , is really important. So don't feel bad about it , like I said you said it perfectly
