It's hard when you have no support.

It's not as simple as you are making it up.

You know how you feel 💛

Could you talk to a trusted teacher or parent?

You can find online therapist for free and maybe they could help you understand yourself. And if you can't find any, try to do some research about neurodivergent system or something like that. Try read books or watch some videos from neurodivergent creators on YouTube, try reading posts in websites from neurodivergent creators or read about neurodivergent experience here so you can understand yourself. And if you will find out that you are neurodivergent don't worry if things going to be "worse and worse" because you will unmask and be your tru self so don't be scared, it's normal for people like you (if you will find out that you are AuDHD) because that's what happens when you mask your whole life when you don't even aware that you are autistic or ADHD or both. That is, it's the mask slipping off so don't worry and don't be scared, it ok to be like that, just let yourself be and unmask so you can finally be free and be your true self anr i hope you will feel better and will find a nice community like here and some good friends that will understand you and help you 🫂💞

And i think you should try to get tested for AuDHD. I hope you will find a good therapist that really understands you if you will have the ability. But if not, i hope you will try to do some research and it will make you feel seen and supported 💞

Hi @Dwellerofvault101

I'm so sorry you're doubting yourself and have no family support whilst trying to figure this all out. I'd like to echo what Amanda said - you are the absolute best judge of your character - no-one knows you better than you do <3

I'd also like to share that I had many doubts about whether I was Autistic (and ADHD) or not and most neurodivergent people I speak to have also had doubts at times. It's perfectly healthy to explore who you are and take time getting to know yourself.

I found that spending time around neurodivergent people helped me understand my own neurodivergence better and made me feel validated. I hope there are ways for you to find a safe person (or people) to talk to.

🌟 Joy 🌟

Im gonna just go with the flow atp because I cant secure my dream job if im diagnosed and its like the only thing thats gonna give me a better shot at a future

Actually, if you are diagnosed, you WILL get a job. That's a stereotype about being diagnosed and bit getting a job because of that. But you do you, but just so you know that you actually can get a job even if you are diagnosed so, it's ok.

actual is real common people get discriminate against if people know they have diagnosis like autism and stuff so that  something people do need think about if them just want diagnosis for validation not because need services

Yeah i would like the services but lowk it doesn't outweigh the negatives that come with a diagnosis atleast for me because if what I enjoy

dude I am audhd do NOT be afraid to reach out bc it can seriously be so debilitating sometimes, and it sucks to live with it if you don't know. I'm around your age and I only recently got diagnosed. People still won't believe you sometimes, but the people who actually matter will, and that's a big plus. If you have suspicions, talk with a therapist or trusted adult about it and try to get tested if that's what you want. you know yourself better than anyone, so don't feel like you're tricking yourself!
