I feel kind of out of it today. I had a really busy day yesterday. This site is also really sucking me in...I had a whole to-do list and I'm not doing any of it. Mood-wise I've been pretty good lately though.
I feel annoyed and angry for no particular reason. At first I thought maybe it was PMS but it's not. I still live at home with my parents, and they didn't do anything to me, but for some reason I just got really annoyed with them. Still am, actually. I'm just tired of living here in the middle of nowhere. I want to go back to the city with my two cats and be by myself. I don't like being lonely, but sometimes being alone is my only comfort when everything gets too much. I just wish I was by myself. But I'm not mentally healthy enough to be on my own, so I have to just deal with these random mood swings until I get my shit together, which I'm determined to do this year. It just sucks. I hate feeling like this for no rhyme or reason. The worst part is that I'll probably go back to normal tomorrow. I at least wish these emotions were consistent. tl;dr sorry for the essay.
I feel rather lethargic. My mood has been more on the manic side lately, but today it was pretty low. Now suddenly I feel like I'm going to cry because my manic impulsivity has created yet another crisis.
I feel so out of control of my life. I have so much energy it's making me sick. I feel like I'm going to burst out of my own skin. Barely no sleep and not eatting but I feel like I have enough energy to do anything. My thought go so quick and trying to figure anything out just makes me want to crawl and cry for no reason.
Hi there we have the same feeling how do you cope with this
At that time I was on meds that made my cycles way worse and dr was ignoring the signs.. But I still struggle with it. But routines and staying busy help me. Stay busy and schedule meals, lay in bed even if I'm full of energy. I'm usually physically tired but mentally awake. I have anxiety and sleeping meds to take when needed. Counseling helped. But this is what was/is good for me, and only you know you. But if you ever need a listener to talk to I'm here.
I've moved on from irritable to...I don't even know. I think I'm rapid-cycling or whatever it's called. I went from pissed, to feeling like I was being ripped apart on the inside, to numb, to kind of okay and back to...whatever this is. I'm just waiting for the crying spell to start. ugh. I wish there was a reason for all of this.
It's so elating, to openyour eyes to a new day. What a "BLESSING! Thank you "MASTER".Today I feelmuchbetter than I did yesterday. My concentration is greater, and I'm not lying around as much. Feeling like I'm somewhat normal. It'sa day I haven't complained as much. Overall, I feel pretty satisfied today. A lot could have happened differently, but so far everythings okay. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a repeat (smile). I wish everyone felt as good.
I feel like I'm losing myself and that terrifies me.
Last friday i went to a psychiatrist and he told me i had bipolar disorder. I really didn't know what to do, everything is new for me and i don't know if i can handle the situation. My mood swings very often
getting diagnosed is a difficult time. Lots of emotions about it, at least for me. Clarity--everything made much more sense. Depression, relief, guilt, shock....
I recommend the book Facing Bipolar. It's for young people and it's an awesome book. I gave mine away and bought it again.
Hi there
I have bipolar disorder and I've been in and out of 6 mental institutions for a year, 2 years ago. For the last year, I've gotten back on my feet and I find that small doses of my mania gives confidence in myself and energy to accomplish pretty hard tasks. I have accepted this mental disorder as who I am instead of viewing it as a liability and weakness. I know mental illness is a struggle , but I hope that my story can help some people overcome the struggles with their mental illnesses and hopefully give them strength to fight some of their own battles.
Mines so bad I went to 8 mental facility's and I take 2 phsychodicmeds for my bipolar " how am I going to get a job ?
I can relate. I've been to an outpatient therapy group that meets 9-2 everyday. it helped but I can't expect to keep going and keep my job.
Meds, as I've learned, are necessary, and annoying but wonderful. I'd be psychotic without them and probably still getting high to try to manage my symptoms on my own. It takes getting used to!
My mom used to say that I should keep quiet about my mentalillnesses because it would ruin my reputation, but we're in a more accepting world now, depending on where you live too, though. She accepts now that I'm a vocal advocate and teacher about such things.
With the help of therapy, medication, coping skills, and your support system(family friends, support groups, etc), you can live a happier life than you have now and get a job, even if it may not be as fast as you'd like. It'll happen.
