Dinner With Our Alumni: Lugi123

Hi everyone! We are off into the new year and I am excited to present another interview with @Lugi123! For those that don't know, Dinner With Our Alumni is a series of small interviews that I conduct with 7 Cups Academy alumni to know more about their journey in the program. This post is dedicated to the Content Development and Marketing (CDM) Program! The aim is to spread more awareness about the program and hope everyone gives it a read!

So who is Lugi? Lugi has been a listener here since February 2021 (almost a year!). Outside of 7 Cups, they have also been a social media manager for over 6 years (phew!). They love writing and also supporting people with their mental health.

What was on the menu? Classic pizza! 🍕

Without further ado, here's Lugi for you:

What made you join the CDM program?

I wanted to learn more about writing content for the mental health field. This is an area I definitely want to learn more about.

How was your experience doing the program?

I really enjoyed doing the program because I could combine 2 of my passions, which is writing and mental health.

Which was your favorite activity in the program?

I loved writing articles because I could do some research on a topic I enjoy and learn more about it at the same time.

What advice would you give to a new CDM trainee?

To enjoy the process. Try not to be too hard on yourself, don't be afraid to ask questions if something is not clear. When you have to choose an article topic, focus on the topics that most interest you.

What are some new things you learned about content through the coursework?

I learned and gained more experience in article writing and using the right keywords in the content.

How did you enjoy creating graphics for the program?

I enjoyed converting my thoughts into visuals. I find art and designing very healing.
