What question do you wish people would ask you?
@Hope
What's your passion and why do you like it?
Hiya @seashell145 would certainly love to hear more about it! What's your passion and what makes you like it?
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou
Thanks Sunisshining! My passion is Math. It changes why I like it, right now it's because it's infinite. Like no matter how much Math we do, there will be more to understand.
Also it gives me the feeling of the higher dimension, about things that might be there but we can't perceive it.
Or just being able to do it, feeling capable.
And understanding concepts feel really satisfying. Some proofs are beautiful and made me fall in love.
@seashell145
Woah! That's such a beautiful way of looking at mathematics.
I'll be honest, personally I'm not a fan haha, but hearing you describe it the way you did, is really inspiring. Also agreed, understanding mathematical concepts is incredibly satisfying, so is getting correct answers and desired proofs.
I hope you continue finding more beauty in your passion.
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou
Thank you Sunisshining, I'm glad my description touched you. I guess this is the real Math yet they teach it wrong in the schools. So most people miss out on the beauty. It's okay if you're not a fan, this field can be a bit different than the things we find in our daily lives. And there are other beautiful things too.
Thank you for your kind words, hope I can continue finding beauty in my passions! I'll remember these words! <3

This is soo truee, a lot of people I know who love math as a subject have had the same thing to say, that it isn't taught as a subject to make someone fall in love with the concepts, just for marks and grades like most other subjects, but somehow math is also presented as something "scary" to students, developing an aversion to it then feels natural to me.
I remember a friend saying, long time back, that they never scored good marks in the subject but still enjoyed it, and could do the same thing for hours, because they enjoyed it. It was a refreshing perspective to hear because typically when a student is asked what's their favorite subject, the answer usually depends on how well their scorecard suggests they are in that subject, rather than purely focusing on how they feel about it!
This got a bit long haha, so I'll sum here with a ~ You're so welcome!💗
It touches my heart Sunisshining, and makes me sad about myself that we have to apologize for expressing ourselves. I often get self conscious after writing a comment where I express my opinions or experiences and then say, the comment is long, I hope you understand or something like that. This makes me feel bad that we have to limit ourselves like this and other people would treat us in a way that we would have to hesitate before saying something we want to.
I'm glad you already know about this and you have interacted with many people who also love math. Can you introduce me to some? Are they in 7cups?
I forgot about the grading aspect of Math, I was only talking from my experience. At school we only calculated things or solved equations to get an answer. But at class 11 I did a proof by myself for the first time, without any pressure from school. Just for my own interest and found it a really interesting experience. Since then it has driven me and has impacted my life choices.
I agree, math is presented as scary, this is probably because some of the teachers want to show off their own skills instead of trying to teach students. Just my opinion from my personal experience, this is not universal. I too fear Math, if you find it hard to believe. I fear it so much.
Thank you for sharing about that person who loved to do Math even though they were getting bad grades. This made me see my experience from another perspective. I too had some bad grades in class 11 when I got obsessed with math for hobby for a while.

@Hope Which is your favorite movie?
My answer Encanto
I wish people would ask me about things I love to do
@Hope i wish people would ask me if the way they're treating me bothers me. I wish people would check in on me instead of ignoring me. I wish people actually cared and were honest with me instead of lying. Being an empath can be so difficult, especially dealing with shallow people.
@Hope
"Do you want me to leave you alone?"
