What's something you like to do whenever you travel to a new country?

Visit traditional markets and watch the locals

At anytime we leave our Home area (State or country), we like to experience the culture.

I theorize that at the center of all cultures are FOOD.

So whenever we leave home we attempt as much as possible experience the foods.

What we will NOT do is eat any chain companies (McDonalds, BK, etc). I know that each area, the menu changes but it is not the same as a local pub or Ma Pa eatery.

I think many people believe that have to do certain thing when visiting an area they have not seen before. Personally i just go places and see what they have first hand rather than planning it all out and being on a schedule. Often the thing that are best are not advertised.
