how do you like to de-stress after a hard day?
we all have hard days and it is important to know how to regulate ourselves after one! please share your experiences here! maybe someone finds a nice coping skill to try while going through the comments!
@Clarisse29
Eh so used to the hard days xD in general, though, what helps me destress is plugging off from the world and being with myself, listening to music, taking a walk, being in nature (if possible) or watching something light hearted and chill, ooh or nomming some nice food (🍕).
How about youu, Clarisse?💗
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou
that sounds really relaxing sun! <3 i'm glad you have so many things you find comfort in :)
i usually read or feed/play with my dorm cat/stray animals to de-stress!
@Clarisse29 hehe thank youu and yay, that sounds super relaxing and wholesome also!🥰
With c-ptsd, I’m on edge most of the time. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t often times miserable or hard to be me. Everyday I’m just trying my best to stay positive. Music is really helpful. Lots of talking through my past and trying to identify/work through triggers. A good support system. Keeping my circle small. Cooking. Naps. :)
@Clarisse29
A good nap/power nap never sounds bad.
@trueconfidant123 it can be really refreshing!
@Clarisse29 💯

A few things for me are taking naps and taking a nice warm shower. I am also very into skincare, so after a nice shower I like to put on some music, drink some coffee and do my skincare routine as well as my hair. It really helps me keep my mind clear and worry free.
Snuggling with my pup while we watch a feel good comedy together
@CuriousSoul that’s a classic!
@Clarisse29 after a long hard day a good sleep helps. Other than that a fun sitcom that I have watched before or some sweet music helps me calm down.
