what is something nice that happened to you this year?
we all go through ups and downs throughout the year. sometimes we are faced with hardships but in the face of it all, we need to remember all the good that has happened to us too!
what are some nice things that have happened to you in 2023?
I can relate to you Sunnycat. I too have been through one of the hardest years of my life, coming through loss and betrayal and embracing really difficult changes in my life. Yet, I am renewed with a sense of surprising hope that good things are happening in my life. Love still happens, people still care, dreams come alive, and a new sense of purpose starts to unfold. When we embrace the journey we are on right now in our life and future, we begin to walk with courage and strength so that we can reach a new goal. I have a new sense of love and direction now and I can even stop to see the humor in a situation and embrace love, life, and the possibilities our future holds.

Getting the opportunity to redeem myself after giving up on myself:
- Getting a Job
- Getting my own place
- Being able to go to the food pantry
- Getting another opportunity at education
- My neighbors donating maize
- Being able to go to the laundromat
- Having the opportunity to see my classmates for the last time
- Having a place to stay
I learned how strong I truly am after enduring the hardships this year brought. I got a new job that I actually enjoy! I could go on & on because I love focusing on the positive. Just glad to be alive & go into the next year with my amazing husband & fur babies ❤️
@Clarisse29 I broke up with my boyfriend at the beginning of the year (and he frankly treated me horribly). Thought all hope was lost until I came across my current boyfriend, who has been an absolute angel. He's definitely my highlight of 2023, and hopefully many more years to come.
i got my first teaching job this year. Although it comes with many challenges , I am in such a supportive work environment an love going to work. I have a great set of students. I love it! I can’t wait to see what 2024 brings
