...See more As we enter February and embrace our monthly theme [https://www.7cups.com/forum/projectsandevents/CommunityActivitiesEvents_1908/7CupsinFebruaryTheHeartofConnection_374480/], The Heart of Connection, we want to take a dedicated moment to celebrate a truly historic milestone: the 100th Anniversary of Black History Month! Originating in 1926 as "Negro History Week" through the vision of Carter G. Woodson, this month has grown into a global celebration of achievement and a vital time for reflection. This centennial anniversary is a powerful reminder of a century of progress, the strength of the human spirit, and the vital role of Black voices in our shared journey toward mental wellness and equality. We Want to Hear from You: This 100 year milestone is most meaningful when it is celebrated by our community. We are inviting everyone, Listeners and Members alike, to help us fill our forums with stories and reflections that honor this legacy. Do you have a post or a story to share? We are looking for community-led content, such as: * Highlights of Black psychologists, activists, or thinkers over the last century who have transformed mental health. * Stories on how history and heritage shape your modern journey toward healing and resilience. * Art, Poetry, and Wisdom! ...See more Ranch isn’t just ranch anymore. Oh no, no, ha ha. Ranch has ✨range✨. We’ve got cucumber ranch bringing cool spa vibes. Avocado ranch being creamy and a little fancy. Jalapeño ranch saying, “I’m ranch… but make it spicy.” And then there’s the brand loyalty debate. Some folks swear by one brand like it’s a lifelong friendship. Others stroll down the aisle, see a sale sticker, and say, “You. You are my ranch now.” Both are valid. Both are powerful choices. Ranch also shows up for us in so many ways: * The MVP dip for fresh-cut veggies 🥕🥦 * A classic salad bestie 🥗 * The secret weapon on sandwiches and wraps 🥪 * Sometimes… eaten straight off the spoon (no judgment here 👀) It’s comforting. It’s versatile. It somehow works with foods that shouldn’t work but absolutely do. 💬 So now I’m curious: Are you loyal to a specific ranch brand or flavor? Do you reach for cucumber, avocado, jalapeño, or classic ranch? Or are you a proud “whatever is cheapest today” ranch adventurer? ...See more Hello everyone, and happy timezones!  Did you know there was an International Bacon Day? Well now you do, and there is also it's branched off day in December on the 30th being National Bacon Day!  What makes this day so important?  In the Ancient times, China, Egypt, and Rome cultures had methods of of preserving pork. However, Rome was the first to take the credit for this idea, and originally called bacon "Petaso". Which created a domino effect, and when the bacon became enriched with salt. In the 19th and 20th centuries, meat production was expanding to the general public.  Did you know that there are 4 different types of bacon widely known?  1. American Bacon 2. Canadian Bacon 3. Pancetta  4.
