Hello everyone!

What languages can you all speak, and could you teach us one word from one of the languages you speak?

I’ll start: flower in Mandarin is 花 🌼

@ListeningTabbyCat63 It's alright 💖🥰

I can speak English (it's my mother tongue), but don't even get me started on dyslexia!?... I can manage 2000 Japanese picture characters (right brain, and dominant in early development) but 26 illogical Roman characters (left brain)... We all actually scan the top of the word and turn it in a picture pattern!... Silver/Listening (that was meant to be a secret, I was checking my other account at the time... another oops 🤭)

Eh I speak Spanish (Native) and English, I also know eh medium knowledge of Nawat but I am not even conversational yet

An example of a Spanish word: Amor (Love)

However, I know you said One, but please allow me to say various words in Nawat

Shuchit (Flower), Chikwasen (Six), Chikume (Seven), Atiluni (Cup), Mistun (Cat), Chukulat (Chocolate, fun fact the word Chocolate comes from this and its cousin Nahuatl!), Nejmachnemilis (Peace), Tasujtalis (Love), Tzakat (Grass), Tekwani (Jaguar), etc

@Mandie108 It's a heavily endangered indigenous language from Central America (And also my main ancestral language, I have Nawat heritage... and so does a big portion of my country), it only has about 500 or less native speakers left, mostly elderly.
Revitalization efforts are ongoing

I speak Portuguese (native), English (fluent/C2), as well as some Spanish (due to the similarities to Portuguese), and a tiny bit of Japanese (because of my love for anime lol).

A word in Portuguese would be "Amor", which means "Love" 🫶
