@jesusredeemedme2425 it's Lebanese shawarma. 😍

In Lebanon, shawarma isn't just street food – it's a ritual 🤗.

Smoky, spiced meat spinning on vertical rotisseries, carved thin and wrapped warm in flatbread, layered with garlic toum, fetta, and fresh herbs 😋😋😋

@jesusredeemedme2425 No,no... there's a restaurants here, serve traditional foods 🤗.

Toum (or toumiya) is a vibrant, fluffy, dairy-free Middle Eastern garlic sauce from the Levant, essentially a garlic emulsion with a mayonnaise-like texture, made from just garlic, oil, salt, and lemon juice.  💝img-20260120-110045_1768887197.jpg

@Ailuraphilelove8tear9 I'm sooo hungry! We have this Mediterranean restaurant here that serves this! It comes with this good basmati rice and a nice salad! Sometimes I just get the build your own salad they have and I love it. I get to pick my basmati rice, mixed greens, pick all my toppings, meat, and sauces. This place is where I learned of couscous and Lebanese tebullah or however you spell it. I love hummus and pita bread. All of it. I'm just sooo hungry now thinking about this food! Now I don't know about falafel though, because the one time I had it-- it just wasn't for my taste buds. Everything else A+. 😂🤣 I need food!!!! 😋

Harak osbao is a traditional lentil stew, particularly popular in the region of Damascus. It is made with lentils, pasta, tamarind, and pomegranate molasses, often flavored with garlic, onions, bay leaves, and cilantro. The dish's name translates to "he burned his finger," likely due to the irresistible temptation to eat it while it's still hot.

Harak osbao is typically garnished with fried pita bread, caramelized onions, and sometimes pomegranate seeds, adding layers of texture and flavor to this comforting meal.
