Actually I use simple way ,like listening to news , podcast or most of time  any video that I have interest in their topic with its subtitle  then I can practice it with Ai 

@relaxedRacoon I've been using a free app called Duolingo...it's like a game, I'm on a streak of 366 days 

@relaxedRacoon i use an app to practice with people and i place my phone, pc, tv in English 

@relaxedRacoon apps, having a book on the language u want to learn, workbook and also if its in another language purchasing the books where you can practice writing the characters depending on the language. Those items are what I use for learning Japanese

Spanish is my native language. I can speak English really well but I kinda lost my writing skills a little too much I guess lol. I started english lessons with other adults last year. I started writing again in english in an app to vent about your problems just like this one... And Even tho I still need to confirm some words with Google translator, just a few, my writing skills improved like years ago.

Also I was embarrassed to write posts in English bc, yeah, my enlgish writing skills aren't perfect  🙈 but I try to do my best.

Thing is I never stopped improving my skills in enlgish even If I talk by myself I do it in English, sometimes. Even If I watch interviews, I love watching Jimmy Fallon or other interviewers and I understand everything! Also from time to time I watch a girl who makes videos in YT and I don't change the audio to spanish, it grosses me haha. Even tho I quit English lessons when I was a teen I never really stopped using this language.

Also chatting is a great option as well to practice.

Reading also helps.

Music didn't do much for me or videogames.

But people are different and maybe to me videogames and music,tv series didn't do much for me but videos, reading a little bit about a certain topic, writing, English lessons yes.
