Hi, I crochet and it's a really fun hobby, I recommend starting with a 5.00mm hook and yarn that goes with that. Look at the lable and you'll see a hook with a number thats the hook you want for it. Hoped this helped if you want any more tips just reach out.

Hi, Rasberry! No pattern. This is simply a continuous granny square. I am currently obsessed with them as they work up very quickly. Here is the tutorial I used. 🙂

Hi Misty! This is ombré yarn, so the color comes as is and whatever happens will happen. The border is a separate shade of red that I switched to at the end. One can certainly alternate colors by hand if they wish.
