I need to forgive myself for - the mistakes I've made
@mytwistedsoul I understand that feelings of regret and guilt can be difficult to work through. Forgiving ourselves is a journey, not a destination. Maybe reflecting on the lessons you've learned and how you've grown from your mistakes. What matters most is that you are trying your best, and you are not defined by your past - you always have the opportunity to move forward.
@ASilentObserver Thank you for your reply. Forgiving ourselves is a journey not a destination. I like that. You're right. I am trying. I have to admit that. I'm learning and growing every day. It might not be in huge gigantic ways but those baby steps add up too. It all counts
I need to forgive myself for not forgiving myself in the past when I followed through with attempts to harm myself. Does this even make sense? To this day in time, I still feel 50/50 with my past actions.
At one point, I went to church with my parents. But I couldn't get past the point of forgiving myself for those choices, and didn't believe anyone else would. At that time, I wasn't sure if I wanted to forgive myself or not, and when I can't talk about it with anyone, I eventually gave up with attending church. Both my parents are Christians, but because I can't get past that point, I gave up entirely.
@ASilentObserver
@Jaeteuk I understand how difficult it can be to forgive yourself for past actions, especially those that caused harm. It makes sense that you would feel conflicted about forgiving yourself, and like forgiving yourself is an ongoing process. Not being able to openly discuss these feelings can make things harder.
It feels like a constant battle within myself.

@purpleTree4652 I understand feeling the need to forgive yourself for how you are coping during this difficult time. It sounds like you are being self-critical for ways you are taking care of yourself, whether that is getting extra rest or not being as productive as you would like. Please try to be gentle with yourself. There is no one right way to handle challenges, and what matters most is that you are reaching out for support.

I need to forgive myself for being myself. I have certain hobbies that would make some people laugh and sometimes makes me feel ashamed even though no one knows and theres nothing to be ashamed of. I am who I am and I shouldn't be ashamed of that.
@mechanix96 I understand feeling ashamed or embarrassed about parts of yourself that others may not understand. But you're right, you shouldn't feel ashamed just for being yourself. Everyone has unique interests and passions, and what matters most is that those things bring you joy. It sounds like you're working on accepting yourself fully, flaws and all, which is so important for happiness and peace of mind. Maybe focusing on the parts of yourself you enjoy and value can help balance out any self-criticism. You've got this!
I need to forgive myself for not knowing better . That mistakes I made are just mistakes and Do not define me as a human.
