I'm here for you

I went through years of depression that were endless, like I was stuck in a place I couldn’t escape no matter how hard I tried. There were days when even the smallest things felt overwhelming, and hope was so distant and unreal. But slowly, step by step, I found my way out of it. It wasn’t easy, and it didn’t happen overnight, but I made it through and that’s something I carry with me every day. Now, I’m here for anyone who’s going through the same darkness, because I understand how heavy it can feel. If you’re struggling, just know that you’re not alone, and even if you can’t see it yet, there truly is a light waiting for you at the end of the tunnel.

@Wherepeacefalls Thank you so much 💖 Sending you lots of love and *Big hugs* 🐾💕

@Wherepeacefalls I've been struggling lately. I'm used to going through challenging times, but this seems longer and I don't know what to do or how to proceed.

@intuitiveHickory2911 Hello, I can totally relate to feeling this way for an extended period of time. I have been going through a depressive episode for the last 3 months now and it is agonizing. Everyone has different preferences on how they want to help themselves. For me, I tried to remember every day when I wake up to say 3-5 things I am grateful for and add in positive affirmations. I personally need to keep busy, or else my intrusive thoughts get hold of me. Staying busy and knocking off tasks keeps my mind busy. Even if you complete a task as simple as making a phone call or going for a walk outside, it may be helpful for you. Set a goal(s) and try to accomplish it. Doing this will help you feel like you have achieved something and make the depressive feeling subside for a little bit. I hope this helps.
