One recent moment of joy I experienced was....
Planning a winter solstice celebration; out with the old and dark, in with new life and light. Bring on the spring!
When I had sat with my brother in the living room, playing N++ with him, completely in the moment and laughing about some brilliant joke we had made up. It was so nice to have that sort of bonding with him, to be able to not care about all the other crap going on in my life.
One recent moment of joy I experienced was when I was in drama and I found out we had to work in groups. Ironically, I hate working in groups. I don't like socializing. My teacher split the class into two big groups. She then said straight-forward that we had to make our own performance. Everyone was looking at each other like she was crazy. There was no way we could make up our own performance when everyone barely spoke to each other. We kind of just looked at each other for a bit. I had one friend in the group, but we didn't talk much. Anyway, she broke the silence and asked what we should do. We then figured out one person had so many ideas, but she didn't say them until someone asked. After that, everyone was speaking their own ideas. It was so fun hearing other people's ideas. We all acted like we were friends just having a good time. We are almost halfway through the performance, and I am currently feeling successful. It was the most fun I have had in days. Funnyingly enough, the other group were all friends, but they didn't get any work done. I guess I have now learnt it's sometimes better to face challanges than have it the easy way.
Yesterday I got to water the backyard. From now on I get to water all the plants in our backyard each day <3
Someone noticing me
My family came back home last night! I missed them so much.
When You know the once frowning memeber now has a smile on their face because of you💙
I just held the softest bunny ever!
A little moment of joy today was when my friend called me his "best friend". It kinda sounds silly considering he has said much more meaningful stuff but it really touched me. ♡
I took a day off for my son and I to help with a community BBQ lunch. There were thousands of people and I was really nervous before hand because I knew there would be so many people there. But once we got there and jumped on to help, I really enjoyed seeing my son growing before my eyes into a good man. It's all I've ever wanted for him.
