Struggling

Every day feels like a battle between my mind and my heart. Even when things improve, my thoughts tell me to take that leap and end everything. The comforting pull of that moment where everything would stop feels nice, but I don’t know what to do about it.

My medication still isn’t helping. Big surprise. Never had any success with medications. My sleep is terrible even when I sleep on time. Juggling a full time job and three classes takes a toll. And I don’t know how much longer I can keep paying it.

I'm really sorry to hear you're going through this. I've been in a headspace similar to what you're describing, and it's a difficult place to climb out of. I hear that it's difficult to keep pushing from day to day and resist the urge to take that leap when everything else seems so hard. You're not alone in this feeling, and this community is here for you. I hope you find the right combination of meds that works for you and that sleep can soon bring you relief and rest. We're here for you, and I'm so happy you're here with us.

@generousKitten6660 It sounds so exhausting to live with that constant push and pull inside. Knowing the medication isn’t working makes it even harder—especially when you were probably hoping it would help. Instead, it feels like it’s just adding more weight to everything you’re already carrying, but know that this will not be always so hard you were strong so far so please keep trying to never give up, i hope things will get better for you soon

@generousKitten6660 it's understandable how hard it is for you. Especially with medication changes and it not being suitable. How do you feel now? Have you talked to your doctor about the medication not working?

Hey. I know things are difficult okay? But ending everything is not the answer even if it sometimes feel like it. I know it can be hard. I know it trust me. But think about it. If you end everything now you will not get to make your dreams come true, to feel how it is to be the real you.

Fight it. Fight everything that comes. I know its hard. Thats why there are therapists or people you can lean on. Don't give up. Don't let this win. I believe in you and I know you can become the best version of yourself. I m here if you need anything.

Take care, be safe, and text me if you need anything

I'm so sorry you are feeling this way that must be difficult to feel like this and also when the medications are also not working but that doesn't mean it's the end everytime you mind tell you to take a leap just shutt your mind and try to figure it out you know what medications only work when you are also trying to get through it....so keep trying and don't overthink about it much

I'm sorry you are feeling that way, it's not easy to cope with it, but it's great you are hopeful and want to make things right.

First of all, I want to congratulate you for having the courage to tell us these things. I understand that it is not easy for you. Juggling a job, classes, and mental health is not easy at all. And feeling like your sleep is terrible even when you are sleeping at the right time is really tiring. Maybe your body and mind are too tired to rest. I also understand that medication is not helping. I encourage you to talk openly with your doctor about this, because every body is different and maybe a different medication is right for you. Take care! You matter!
