One thing I plan on doing to positively impact my mental health: I plan on finding more ways to take care of myself. My counselor and I have been talking about the importance of self care and doing things for myself. It’s time for me to do more for me because I am important and I do matter. Putting aside what makes me happy isn’t going to get me anywhere.
something I hope to accomplish this month: I need to work on expanding my circle/my support system. I’ve come to realize that there is really only one person in my day to day life that actually wants to help me make a difference in my well being. I need more people who will help build me up not tear me down.
This week I just need positive thoughts sent my way. I’m truly struggling both mentally and physically and just need help finding the strength to keep fighting. (If you believe in prayer please pray)
@modestOcean1286
I agree! Self care is important to have in our lives. When I don't take self care I start to burn out and it makes me not on top of my game.
We are all here and ready to support you where we can! Having people in your personal life can be awesome to have as well!
Sending positive vibes your way 🌈🌈 Let us know how your week goes and if you need to pop into a listener's PM then feel free to do so!

I hope to get outside more often this month. I was inside a lot the past month for my physical health but hopefully it will be safer to do so this month!
What is something you are hoping to accomplish this month?
Get some plants into my garden boxes!

If you go to a medical setting, please follow the laws and even consider going above them when it comes to protecting those who are at higher risk of contagious illnesses - this month that has been pretty rough.
Creative tips for managing fatigue are welcome! That's been pretty bad too.
@AffyAvo
I am hoping to get outside soon too! It is getting warmer out! I am not a huge gardener but I do enjoy it here and there. It is nice when you can pull a pepper out instead of having to go to the store.
I agree! Laws are in place for a reason. It isn't fair for others to get sick because one or two or more people can't follow those laws. Hmmm, let me get back to you on managing fatigue. I'll have to think on that one for a bit because I struggle with that too.
Just I don’t know to answer those questions I don’t know things I am doing for those things just support need support I am sad I want to move back to my real home. I hate living here want to go back to Hawai'i and I am sad my friend there doing fun things together and not me I am really sad and lonely
Hmm, just came up with this healthy idea, I can go outside my dorm where there's a bench and get fresh air once a day. I'll just listen to one or two songs and go back inside. At the end of this month, my after-school percussion program I'm teaching will be over for the year, so I'm hoping to get through this funk I'm in so I can be there for my students. I suppose the most supportive thing for me, if someone could tell me that taking breaks for mental health is okay.
@pandaprincess9 Taking breaks for mental health is more than okay, it's encouraged!
Getting outside for a bit to recharge, listening to some songs sounds like a great idea!
