I learned a lot about myself this past year. I wish I knew that it's okay to push yourself to do somethingthat you have no motivation to do. Taking chances is empowering, uplifting, and worth it. You never know what's on the other side of fear (or in my case, anxiety). I wish I was more self aware. I suppose this is silly as there is so many other things that I would have liked to have known last year. But I guess I will always say that because I'm constantly learning.

It's ok to make mistakes. Sounds clich but that is definitely one of the biggest lessons I've learned over the past couple months that has helped me to come a long way with my anxiety!

That whatever happens will happen. Everything comes in its own time, no matter how much you want it right now.

I wish I'd known that it's okay to take time out for yourself and have some "me" time for a while. Also, that it is okay to tell people politely that you don't need their help if they are offering it but you want to try and do it yourself. I've got more satisfaction from doing things for myself and usually I end up getting frustrated if the person doesn't get it how I want it anyway lol!

I wished I had spoken to someone about my fears and anxieties. I had bottled them up for so long, putting on my best fake smile, pretending that everything was okay while on the inside I was crying. I finally submitted back in June when my personal problems became too much to bare. That was when I found 7COT and I'm trying desperately to repair myself. I've never had any self esteem, never thinking I'm worthy of anything. I've had so many upsets this year, my uncle died unexpectedly, my attempts to gain employment failing again, my mother being ill, my family pet cat whom we loved dearly passed away due to cancer and almost losing my best friend earlier this year as just caught up with me. Some days are better than others, but my stress always comes back. I even saw a doctor who I though might ease my depression only intensified it by saying I might have this or something else. My health hasn't been on form lately (women issues in particular) I just wish that... As upset as I was a year ago, that I could go back to that time, because my troubles didn't seem half as bad as they do now.

Hi, if I knew what I could have known a year ago I might have continued giving my daughter financial support even if she lied to me for over twelve years. If I could take back every single time I know about all of those lies when I was giving my daughter money for the homeowner's insurance I might have still given it to her so I could see my granddaughter.

I wish that I could have known to follow my gut when someone who seemed suspicious started trying to enter my life. She put me over the edge this year and I ended up having to leave school all because I didn't speak up and say no.

To be more careful on how I did things, my back, knees, joints, I'm paying for it now. Take care of yourself when you're young, so when you get older you will still have full ability to do the things you want.
