My favourite decorations is .... everything that can decorate the Christmas tree !

I normally don't decorate much of anything, but this year I broke down and put a bunch of blinky lights in my windows. So yeah, blinky lights, they are my favorite.

Bedroom lights are red, kitchen are white, spare bedroom is blue. It also serves to annoy my ultra-nationalistic neighbors.

Which wasn't the plan, it just sort of happened on accident and I didn't realize what I had done until one of my neighbors was shouting, "USA BAD!" out their window at me. Which prompted a fair bit of confusion, head scratching, and wondering why they were hollering this at me when I made it clear to all of them I'm from Canada.
Which I'm not.
But Canadians rarely get hassled in China, so its what I always say.

My classroom though, that's another story. Rather than hanging paper snowflakes on the walls, I hang them from the ceiling. Each of my students makes 2 or 3 and by the time christmas rolls around we have 150 or more paper snowflakes hanging off the ceiling. Quite lovely.

I was more amused by it than offended. If you think about it, it was pretty comical to have someone hiding beneath their curtains shouting, "USA BAD" with their lights turned off.

My favorite Christmas decoration is tinsel! So simple, yet so effective. It's pretty, it's colorful, it's shiny, it has a festive look... Also, it can be used to decorate virtually everything - even oneself, as a garland or a festive necklace!

Well, what sort of decoration will you choose?
I have few ones where I live because I'm waiting for tomorrow to go to mountain since I will have a vacation time and days off work and at mountain my Christmas' tree is waiting for me!! LOL! I will also decorate here and there with lights and candles, I look forward for it!

The Christmas tree overall. We actually have 2, a big one for upstairs and a smaller one to go by the fireplace on the main floor.
