dyslexia affects so much more than just spelling !! It can reduce ur reading speed, give you a bad short term memory, confuse your sense of direction, make it difficult to form sentences which can result in a stutter, make you switch he ends of your words around, make you very seinsitive to light when reading, and lots more !! its not just being bad at spelling !!

I wish people knew that GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) isn't just "worrying about everything". It's "my body is actively FREAKING OUT while my mind is calm". It makes me feel sick even though I feel neutral or excited about whatever is causing the freakout. It's not just worry!

Honestly? That it exists.

It's true that Meniére's disease is kind of rare...but I am not the only person in the world who has it. Dana White, the promoter/mogul who runs the UFC franchise, has Meniére's too. (It's not widely known about him. Now you know it.) I've met two other people with Meniére's disease so far. The point is, we Meniére's vics do exist & the disease is real. Here's the obligatory Wiki link if you'd like to know more. Which you should. So stop reading this & click it, please.

@slowdecline48

So you're rare??? That's awesome! You're like a unicorn <3

Is Meniere's a bit like POTS? I have two friends who have that.

@jesusredeemedme2425 Guess so...this is a kind of uniqueness I could just as well do without. 😤 😒

Like POTS? Sort of, though POTS seems to affect the brain via the circulatory system whereas with Meniére's, it's all the inner ear parts & the main nerve trunks from ears to brain. POTS is no joke, for sure. I also used to know someone who has it...she's hit the floor a bunch of times just by standing up from a sitting position too quickly. Errrgghh.

Neither one sounds like fun at all. :(
