do you open up easily?

User Profile: MeaningfulSilence

Hello everyone!

So...open up to someone...

* Do you open up easily?

* Did it ever happen to you to open up and regret it later?

* Have you ever felt like you would open up but the fear to be hurt refrained you in doing?

* Are you able to get over your fears and just open up when you feel like the person is worthy?

everything is depends on the person front of you, I'm an open person, friendly and very social.

easy to be my friend maybe from the first time you start feel as you know me from a long time (that's my friends speech)

Yes to all of the questions. I'm fairly open, but there have been times I have regretted being open and have also had times where I thought about telling someone about something and figured the potential consequences of having something private go public wasn't worth it. Generally, I can trust someone although it depends on the person and the information.

Haha, I guess I was just following suit. Yeah, it's definitely a struggle to find people I trust enough to open up to. When I do, though, we tend to get really close and have a great friendship :)

I'm sorry for that.

Maybe in time you will find a way to open up a bit, maybe with people that will make you feel more at ease.

It's already great that you shared about it!

Take care!

Lol ! So it is something you do slowly, maybe when the person gets your trust?

@BeyondTheInvisible

I guess that depends upon who you are. My boss, they'll never get too much out of me. I don't like being friends with my boss. I'll be respectful and friendly, but I like having that distance in the event I find a better job and decide to leave.

I probably start opening up after a year or two if I am around a person socially on a regular basis.

Image result for nobody realizes that some people expend

No, because I am not "normal" by societies standards and after years of both pyshical and emotional bullying, I am very reluctant to open up to anyone. I could be like that for life, but I am me, and I do not care. I like me for me.

Hi @amiablePeace77 !

So it also depends on what opening up is about!

@BeyondTheInvisible

Hi, no Beyond. It is more like fearing to be misunderstood and not having the chance to show correct it or not knowing how. I give you an example, if you are trying to improve skills, like lets say building cabinets, some people might see it as "wanting to compete with others or just trying to be better" whilst the real reason is trying to improve to give the cabinets to those who cannot afford to buy. So based on past experience i just keep more quite then (suffering that people can get such an idea about me). Hope that is understandable.

Hello @LatinNightSky !

Sure, it's up to you to decide just how you're going to talk about yourself and what you're going to say.

Have a nice friday over there!
