I've recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and my doctor also mentioned about POTS I feel like I fit a lot of the symptoms but u don't know how to get the doctors to listen to me because im always brushed off because of my age as I'm only 20 and it's really frustrating if anyone has any advice it'd be really helpful 🙃

In my experience some of it is just adjusting to how a doctor works.

You said one doctor has already mentioned POTS - that can be a very useful starting place! If you can't get them to help you anymore with that when seeing someone else you can mention Dr. So and So mentioned the possibility of POTS and I would like to determine if that is causing my symptoms.

I find I need to be cautious with "I think I have ..." some doctors work well with that, others seem to take offense.

Document whatever you can - get copies to test results, record symptoms, etc. I find some doctors do not want to see it all though, I try to prepare to discuss the most important things/show the most relevant information and have other information ready to show if it seems like it would help during the appointment.

I hope you are able to get good medical support!

one thing that I have found helpful is keeping records and a symptom chart. A symptom chart is what lead to my diagnosis of MS.  I always document the symptom, the date, the time, duration, and severity. Then Your dr has something to look at.  I also get copies of any lab or test results and put them in a file.
