Disability Room Changes in Progress (UPDATE)
Hello lovely community,
it has been a bumpy journey, still an exciting and nice one with lots of love and support from all community members.
At the time of writing a few hours ago it has been announced that topic based support rooms like disability room will be changed from 24/7 open rooms to popup rooms which will be open only when group mods and session leaders are around to monitor room safety and host support and chat sessions. Unfortunately this change has been applied already. (UPDATE: Disability room will be open 24/7 for the time being.)
The disability team members are working hard to re-open the room. There will be a badge lock in place. It will serve as an entry ticket for the room.

I am not even able to get in lol but I was told that it is being worked on ...
I am a Doorkeeper and a Global Mod so lol I guess we wait and see what we need now..

@Tyedyedbutterfly65 Also I did start out as a Disability Room supporter then group mod in the room... lol so there should be no need for people like me to earn another badge I would hope that it would be put in place automatically for ones who have been around for a long time.

Just want to clarify here, this is in no way a badge you will need to ëarn"all current regulars and team members will get the badge. Once it is set up anyone else who wants to join will fill in the form and we will check for things like behaviour and multiple accounts. This is to ensure that this room stays supportive and safe and does not get overrun in the process of all these changes. Hope that helps clear things up a bit! We will be back later with more info.
