Disability Room Changes in Progress (UPDATE)
Hello lovely community,
it has been a bumpy journey, still an exciting and nice one with lots of love and support from all community members.
At the time of writing a few hours ago it has been announced that topic based support rooms like disability room will be changed from 24/7 open rooms to popup rooms which will be open only when group mods and session leaders are around to monitor room safety and host support and chat sessions. Unfortunately this change has been applied already. (UPDATE: Disability room will be open 24/7 for the time being.)
The disability team members are working hard to re-open the room. There will be a badge lock in place. It will serve as an entry ticket for the room.

@CaringBrit the room will be badge locked from what i heard, as team member you will not have to apply
@vivelespatates i tried opening the room well downside its invisible to me when open
@CaringBrit so they already badge locked .... but the badge and conditions not created yet ...
@vivelespatates i can access all the other subcoms so why is disability different it says the badge lock is tick tock for listeners in member rooms i have that badge unless theirs a differnt badge there using for just disability

Hey all!
the badge is made, tomorrow we will post the application. The application serves as a way to remind people of guidelines and also gives us the opportunity to remove someones access if they are being abusive. The intention here is to protect your room on a higher level, but I get with all the sudden changes to rooms overall and then this it may not feel that way.
We will keep you posted. Thank you for being understanding this week, we know that we are pushing the envelope with big and sudden changes and it is difficult. Hugs if you want them.

Application?! Between that, the badge lock (with a badge I don't seem to have because I don't talk 1-1 with anyone but my therapist), and the fact that the chats are almost impossible for me to follow, I don't think I'll ever bother.
