Eating Disorder Community Chats

This week our chats begin!
Friday, November 17th - 3 pm Eastern (New York, NY Time) for adults
Saturday, November 18th - 12 pm Eastern for Teens
The room will open 5-10 minutes prior to the chat. This week we address the topic of Eating Disorders & Self-Care. As for those in the US we approach the Thanksgiving holiday and those not in the US still has a need for self-care, I thought it would be a great topic to start our chats out with.
I hope to see you join me later this week!

Indeed, Kristen! I do agree. Self-care, including inner thoughts and how we think about and talk to ourselves, can be really helpful or really harmful. In the earlier part of my struggle with this eat.disorder, Thanksgiving itself - all the lead up to, and then the actual day, and so much like all around food! it was very very hard for me. Thanks for the invite and I hope to see all y'all! on Friday :)

@KristenHR Thank you for sharing details about the upcoming chats. I appreciate your thoughtful support of you to choose a topic that addresses self-care during the holidays and beyond. Eating disorders can be challenging to cope with. I hope everyone attend and share their thoughts on this. I hope to attend if I able to.
