The Beautiful Part of Caregiving
@jesusredeemedme2425
Being a safe and comforting space for your loved ones.
Giving them your time.
Spending time with them.
Being in a position to help.
Knowing they are safe.
Knowing they are properly cared for.
Them knowing they are loved.
Them knowing they are not alone.
Giving back.
Still creating memories.
It fills my cup. Knowing I might be the smile they need. The laugh they haven’t had in a while. The change seen in them as they grow into what they need. The conversation. The difference. 💛

You might be the smile they need, that's lovely 💜 and sometimes literally the only company/conversation 💕
Timely post. Im getting into this role soon as my loved ones are having issues and will be needing this support. It looks challenging to me . I have to do my best though. Its an opportunity to fulfil my duty and I hope I do well.
@Creamyyy
It is challenging for sure but rewarding also, the best advice I can give, anytime you even have an hour, do something for you, because when you are exhausted and doing tge constant same each day, once you take care of you, you don't get resentful 💜🥰
@Amanda84 good tip. Thank you. I dont intend to neglect myself. It has to all go together . Hopefully ❤️
@Creamyyy
I'm sure you've got this, it's an emotional vocation so that's why we just need to check in and process how we feel 💜🥰
