I guess, kind of? I have 2 antique mantles that I put in the house. This year I bought an electrical wood stove to nestle inside of one of them, for effect. It's kind of neat, best I can do as I don't have a wood burning or gas fire place here (it generates heat too if you choose the setting). I'm goofy and I put the "fire place scene" on my television sometimes in the living room.
First snow, I'm going in that bedroom, turning on the faux woodstove, snuggling under the blankets with the curtains open and the outdoor light on as the sliding glass door/french doors face right to the back yard. I'll hear and see the crackle of a fireplace🔥all night long with witnessing the snow fall. Clearly...........I've been planning this, lol 😊 "Baby it's cold outside 🎶"
Will you be making a sweet potato casserole with marshmallows?

Hey now, might you like my idea too then? 😊 ❤️ Mine is harmless, has lots of settings, looks really pretty with the flames 🔥 for ambiance. It has the heat function if you want to use that too and has an automatic shut off in the event it is sensing that it is over heating.
I'm having fun this year with the first one. I might get another one for the other room that I put an antique mantle in. I'm in no rush for the other one. I have a big set of faux logs in front of that one already, lol 😊

@SparkyGizmo Actually it might be just as cool to maybe do like a fake-real fireplace. Like maybe I'll try to find a old metal stove but put an electric fireplace inside it to make it seem real without the extra danger? I'll think about it.

I do almost every year. I put that one in the kitchen and it's a 6ft alpine. 🎄🎃👻 It's fun to do for Halloween, decorate it in ways that is Halloween inspired and then the day after Halloween, shazam 💥 and Abracadabra! 💫 I do the quick-o-chango and magically Christmas "hits the ground runnin" 🎅 with Christmas ornaments swapped out.
