@slowdecline48 I've seen pictures of them. I'm the uk, they are at all the biggest seaside tourist areas, and in the family holiday parks like Butlins and places. They look really cool ❤

I don't get how arcades can still stay open now....on the other hand we have flat screens everywhere & more choices for entertainment media than ever, & a few movie theaters are still open. I don't understand how they make money, either.
@slowdecline48 maybe they got new kinds of games, I know they have some little kids rides in some, and ten pub bowling in some, otherwise I don't know. Perhaps a novelty
@slowdecline48 a lot of people lean into the nostalgia of it who remember going to some as kids and want to feel it again or just give their kids the same experience 😊
Good point, I hadn't thought about that. Nostalgia is definitely a profitable urge for businesses who can cater to it.

Thank you, @sadcat13 & @Tinywhisper11 This has been educational. Until this thread I didn't know arcades still existed today, let alone outside the US... The only exception I was aware of was Dave & Buster's, & that's primarily a restaurant chain. Their arcade sections are very small. I figured arcades were either gone or on the way out, tbh.

I'm in Texas, and I've seen a lot of mall arcades! But they are very updated with newer flashier games.

@slowdecline48 I find a lot of arcades are now sections with larger entertainment areas. Many of the indoor playgrounds for kids have arcades. There's also places connected to movie theatres that have bowling, ax trhowing and arcades. The amusement parking within a mall has an arcade. We also still have Chuck E Cheese here.
Instead of quarters it's a card you put money onto at the front.
They wish they wouldn't have to take any responsibilities by doing jobs or so but just scream and play around like their childhood times 😂😂

Look at hotties in their 20's. I can't scope 'em anymore...honestly, I can't! At my age, any one of them could be my daughter. If I check out their physical assets now, it doesn't turn me on...I just feel weird & slightly unclean. So I stopped doing that a while ago.
Besides, too many young women now have bolt-ons which, despite what they believe, do not look good. At all.
