What's Your Favorite Badge You've Earned?
We often talk about stats and milestones, but I think the badges we earn tell a story about our journey here. Badges are like "merit badges" or trophies that serve as a visual history of your contributions, your personal growth, and the kindness you have shown to others.
Some badges are Automatic (awarded by the system for things like chat counts), and some are Manual (awarded by admins or peers for specific kindnesses). I’m curious to know:

I love knowing people’s favourites and “why’s” here too. 🥰
I think everyone here loves badges haha, it’s just more important for me to know my “why” and to have it in the right place, for me.
While all the badges are tokens of cherished presence and what I consider as a “memory nugget”, to remember a significant something or some act or some activity or some person here, there’s a few super special ones that are really really close to my heart. 💛

A lot of people who have been here for a while and may remember these two brilliant listeners/ peers of our community, @Tazzie and @MusicalMagic may recognise the names of these badges, in honour of these beautiful people who left for the heavenly abode.
It’s been years since I have these badges on my profile, and I’m still extremelyyyy (positively) overwhelmed and deeply grateful every time I remember them, like right now, it brings back a lot of memories and so much more overwhelm to me. (‘:
And I’m certain, for everyone else who remembers too. Sending so many hugs your way.💛
I want to say more for the both of them and for how much these badges (not the “badge”, but what it means and stands for) hold space in my heart, but unfortunately words still fall short as I’ve mentioned in my replies to the threads linked above. Same emotion rushing through my heart even right now, exactly how it did all these years ago when I first got to know about the peer and their honour and the blessed opportunity to continue their legacy on here. 🥹💛
The Smalls badge!
In honour of @Laura (Small) another wonderful listener and leader in our community, who helped shape and nurture 7 cups in all the right ways.
Laura left 7 cups, off to do even more amazing things in her world, even before I had the opportunity to interact with her in real time here, but oh gosh, she still never felt like a “stranger”, she was (and still is) everywhere xD tons of forum posts and listener guides and what not, still have her brilliance imprinted and I can see how much of a positive effect she created on here and to have the honour of walking through the same path, with a can-do attitude, is another blessing!
The Tulip badge!
There’s multiple ways to appreciate people or get different kinds of badges etc as we meet any milestones or complete any steps/ tasks here, but I still remember receiving my first Tulip badge, not even knowing what it was before. XD
And how it struck with me that this badge was the one true token of gratitude from a member who has felt supported and cared for, by me on a continuous/ regular basis. It felt and still does, as one of the most “special” ways of remembering how much a difference active listening can really make, the gratitude token coming directly from the member we’ve supported.
Tulip badge requires the member to actually fill out a form to mention how and why they think a listener deserves the badge, and for me, someone taking out the time to fill out an entire form xD remember my username xD xD and be expressive of their gratitude towards me, means the absolute world to me.
My tulip garden on here has grown ever since with many beautiful tulips blossoming over a span of 5+ years of me being here and I can attest that there’s nothing more special than actually realising that I could be a someone for people when they needed.
Wow I have so many more favourites, some from members, some from listeners, some for personal growth and some that have adorable names (Love Monster badge lol, alsoooo the Smile Spreader badge), and yall best know I have my *ahem ahem* detailed “whys” for each one of them listed on my profile, along with the energy to type it out here xD xD but it gets longer and longer 😭 ( I think I deserve a #CertifiedYapper badge at this point 😂) and keeping everyone’s attention span in check, I’ll digress here. 😛
