What's something that's always on your nightstand?

Shock, horror, I don't have a night stand, I'm very minimalist, the only thing next to me when I go to bed, is my rosary beads and my phone 🥰

@Amanda84

My mum always had her rosary with her, especially when she went to bed.

@QuietByNature

Same with my mom. She likes to pray before bed.

Minimalism is good. Keeps your headspace less cluttered.

Me too. My desk is close to my bed, with all my essentials - laptop and books mostly. I understand wanting to sleep in the living room. I also face the irrational fear of having someone sneak into my apartment in the middle of the night. I always double check the locks before bed. Keep the bedroom door open if I can. Helps me sleep peacefully.

thank you for telling us you can relate to the fear of someone coming into apartment when young we never was allowed to close bedroom door this left us in a bad spot when very young our brothers had to walk through our bedroom due to both bedrooms were cement add ons to the old house

at age 7yr right before school started we moved into new house family had built next to old house we had own bedroom but still was not safe from brothers they come in our room a lot to hurt us

I'm sorry to hear that. This is very scary. You deserve privacy and safety in a room of your own. I'm glad you are at a better place now. Please stay safe. You're loved.
