@trueconfidant123 Haha..Thanks. Books! Right now.... I’m about to start Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Haven’t actually started it yet—it’s my first book by him though I’ve seen The Martian movie (Does that count?) Let’s see how it goes.
I just finished Love in the Time of Cholera by Márquez. The book was a gift but I only picked it up about a week ago. It wasn’t really a love story as I expected (this is why you should go in blind when you atsrt reading..okay poor choice of words) but it was sooo good. The prose was beautiful—felt like poetry at times. How about you? What book are you currently reading?

I'm currently on The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin Sharma. It's a self help book revolving around life lessons by a Harvard lawyer turned monk, who spent his time in the mountains of Himalayas receiving teachings from the Sages of Sivana. I keep pausing it because it's too heavy for me. I hope to finish it soon. 😛
@trueconfidant123 I’m usually not into self help books to be honest—I tried The 48 Laws of Power once and quickly realized it wasn’t for me. Ooh... The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari...it sounds like one of those books you really have to sit with and reflect on. So I get why you need the time. Let me know how you find it in the end—I’m curious! 😊📖

@trueconfidant123 a clock and my most loved item I own, a little glass cross with the words 'God lives you' etched into it with some blue flowers. After I was rescued the nurse who stayed by my side and helped me to keep calm and understand, she gave it to me when I was well enough to leave💖 I will always treasure it💖

Don't have a nightstand at the moment because we just moved into our apartment recently and haven't had the chance to buy furniture, but I've been using a cardboard box in the meantime. I always have this little tray that my boyfriend's mother gave me that I put my glasses and phone in when I'm sleeping at night. I also have a spare pillow and when I'm not wearing it I keep a sleeping mask there that I borrowed from my boyfriend.

We not have a nightstand. Have a table next to bed with desktop computer on it and water too. but many other things too.
Due to being disabled physically we spend a lot of time in bed. Due to pain and other reasons. That why talk next to bed. So we can be online even from bed.
Truth is it helps us a lot to connected with people online.

thank you we had to come up with things so we can do more too with all the physical disorder and the limitations of them but we work at finding new ways to do things a lot

I'm not sure but they say the copper water bottle helps with digestive system, blood heart health, etc. I've had it for years now. The steel one is a thermal water bottle and my absolute favourite. I can't do without it. Works in all seasons, hot and cold water storage. It is also leak proof which means I can just toss it into my bag on the go! 🤣💓

you sound like us we always have water by us and take out a big thing of it when we go out. this keeps us from drinking sweet things when out a lot of the time. we also a lot of the time have ice green tea too.
