August Wellness Month Prompts Series: "A Little Something..."

Wellness shouldn't feel like a chore. With these simple, actionable prompts, my goal is to help make it feel more manageable.
Let's start with your body:
👤 What is one small thing you did today to nurture your body? It could be a walk, a stretch, or even dancing to your favorite song while doing the dishes! Maybe some grooming or self-care! Share your 'little something' with us.
🌱 Challenge yourself to build up a healthy habit by returning to this post every day for the rest of August and share your little something you did for your body.
🤝 And to really make this series wealthy and healthy, respond to your peers to give kudos and encouragement!
Looking forward to celebrating better wellness for everyone!

I ate a green salad with tomato and nutritional yeast for breakfast. Yum!
@PatienceImpatiens
yummy yes veggies good for body and taste good too
Had a nice nap... And rest from studying
@Heather225 Drinking my daily protein shake with chia seeds, flaxseeds, banana, and blueberries. Later this evening going to take my dog for a walk and try to go farther than my usual. My anxiety is pretty bad, so I don't get far and just try to go a few more steps each day than the one before.
@RedTigris
the protein shake sounds very good at times when we can not cook due to pain we make them too you just remind us that we have froze blueberries might make a protein shake before bed tonight
@Heather225 Thank you for posting this! Something kind I did for my body today would be to control my anxiety ridden habit of picking at my nails and ruining their shape. Its been hard but I did that! I've also gotten better at listening to my body and understanding when I should be eating, what my body needs in the moment and have been following through with it! (had to tone down on spice levels)
I went for a bike ride. I rode down to the beach on the south side of town, for the first time in almost five years. Since I moved to the north side of town, I just hadn't gotten down there. I've stuck to the beach on the north side of town.
I was cleared by physical therapy to take my dog for a walk-so we did ð¥°
Got my yearly physical
And painted
