Built from that day
We all have a moment, maybe quiet, maybe messy, where something in us shifts. A moment that hurts, challenges or stretches us.. But somehow, we make it through.
Even if you didn't feel strong then, looking back now, it's clear that you grew.
You became someone braver, more grounded, more you.
This is your reminder, you were built from that day. And that strength? It's still in you💙
Questions for you:
What moment from your past reflects your quiet strength?
How does that moment help you see yourself with more kindness now?
@BlueDarkAurora
This is the first time I've read your profile. It made me stop, think, and reflect on my life. Things that I failed to see as blessings appeared as stumbling blocks. I see light at the end of the tunnel. My husband's funeral is today. I pray for strength and for looking for a brighter light to shine again.
@WorkingitThrough2 my heart is breaking, I am so so sorry<3 I'm holding you and your family in my heart. I know there are no words that can easy this pain but please know that I'm here for you, always<3
You've carried so much, I've seen your strength even in the hardest moments<3 I'm holding you close in my thoughts<3 May you feel held in love<3
@BlueDarkAurora
My decision to move away from my best friend.
I love him dearly, but our conditions weren't playing nicely together. It was a cycle that could only be broken by leaving. And it broke my heart. It felt like betrayal, like giving up on something good.
But I recognise now it was necessary for us both to grow as individuals, and find each other and see each other with fresh eyes. It was an act of kindness, but it required a quiet strength. I had to trust my intuition.
@cyanessence That's truly incredible. The courage it must have taken for you to make that decision is remarkable.
It's so easy for emotions to cloud our judgement but stepping back and recognising what needed to be done shows real strength and clarity ^-^
@BlueDarkAurora
The clarity was tiny at first, clouded by emotion. But I couldn't ignore it. My brain saw the pattern. I believe any sound mind would have seen the same.
Sometimes, you have to have utmost faith in your intuition, but you must trust that you are acting with an honest heart.
@BlueDarkAurora A few days ago I had a very stressing anxiety situation I thought would make me lose it, and even though it kept me from sleeping and I had monster panic attack, I made it through it
@genericbeing That wasn't easy<3 Something like that can drag a person under. But you made it through. You're here and I'm so glad you're here :)
@genericbeing 💜
@BlueDarkAurora I have had so many dark chapters in my life.... and I don't want to sound like I'm blowing my own trumpet here but I genuinely am surprised by my own strength to have powered through them and have arrived till here... God is great.
@BlueDarkAurora
For many years, I was verbally, physically and emotionally bullied, it was horrible and there was no escape. I had a continuous loop going around in my head of the insults, haunting my days and my sleep. I was scared to go anywhere. I couldn't look in the mirror. I believed what they said. I was my number one hater. I didn't give in though, I promised myself I would put in the work to see my own worth, to break the years of abuse and im glad to say I'm here and I'm happy 🥰💜
@Amanda84 You're a sweet and gentle soul<3 I am so so sorry you had to go through such painful bullying<3
The person you are now, always spreading love and kindness, is so strong. You didn't just survive, you became this brave, beautiful version of yourself<3
Please always remember how special you are, how kind your heart is and how much love you carry<3
