Exposure Therapy🧋☀️
My therapist gave me some homework about 3 weeks ago to try to go on a date with myself. As small as going to coffee shop. Today I finally got the courage to go to a boba place alone by my home. I was anxious walking alone on the street and anxious about ordering as well. When I got there I was hot and sweaty and my heart rate was up. I tried to watch my breathing and focus on the menu to see what I want. The owner was really sweet! I ordered my drink and paid with cash and then I sat down and waited for my drink. I was trying to take in everything around me and trying to enjoy myself being there and being present. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea with black pearls and it was yummy! The place was playing music in a different language but it was nice and relaxing. I got my drink and took out my journal and began journaling. I’ll have a picture of my entry because I feel proud of it. It was a letter to my past self. It felt liberating honestly. I enjoyed it and I am so proud of myself✨ idk if the pic will be upright but I was making myself teary eyed with my journal entry at the place 📝
It’s okay to feel this way I still feel that anxious sweating heart race feeling just know everyone is proud of you and all your accomplishments big and small each day you’ll find yourself and loving yourself more you’ll also find and enjoy the smaller things in life which is groovy nevertheless keep striving and glowing you are a strong woman who will succeed I guarantee it 🤘🏽🌹🙏🏽🙇

@Priscella
You are a brave girl! 💟 👍 I would never have the courage to take out and write something as personal as my journal in a public place 💜
Also, your handwriting looks very nice - it says you may be a lovable person - a little shy, but well organized, with clear intentions, open and eager to communicate with other people.
