I feel insane

I recently went through a really rough break up and had incredibly dark thoughts and didn't want to continue. I ended up creating a big lie so that I could contact my partner again. It was wrong and I feel terrible and guilty. The lie was so elaborate I am even starting to believe it myself. I feel absolutely crazy but it was the only thing I could think of doing to survive. I feel so lost and hopeless.

@lavenderJar8493 I'm really sorry you’re feeling this way, it sounds really tough. You're not alone, and it's okay to feel lost sometimes. Take things one step at a time, you deserve kindness and healing. 💛

I’m really sorry you’re going through such a painful time. Breakups can be incredibly hard, and it’s understandable that you felt overwhelmed and desperate to hold on. It sounds like you were doing whatever you could to cope and survive, even if it meant making a difficult choice that now weighs on you. Please know that struggling with these feelings doesn’t make you crazy — it makes you human. You’re not alone in this, and there are ways to find hope and healing. If you want, I’m here to listen and support you as you work through these feelings.

@lavenderJar8493 When things get overwhelming, sometimes our minds come up with all kinds of ways to protect us. It’s okay to feel lost and unsure right now. Just remember you’re not alone, and it’s okay to take things slow and be kind to yourself. Healing isn’t a straight line, and it’s okay if it feels messy.

@lavenderJar8493 my dear, I hear you... Breakups can be tough, its hard to accept change when that person was part of our day to day. Even if our minds are ready to let go, sometimes our hearts aren't, we are afraid of grieving, we are afraid of the pain, and the pain is real, but clinging to something that doesn't work also causes pain, for one reason or the other, maybe the relationship is way too deteriorated, or maybe the other person doesn't love us anymore, or maybe they are not good for us, maybe they cheat, manipulate and hurt our self esteem. all of those things hurt as well, the difference is that they also take something from us: our time, our opportunities, our joy.

I am with you on this. Is there a way to stop any more of it happening. You certainly do not want to get yourself mixed up like this I am sure! Hang in there and big hugs! Just remember you don’t need to lie to talk. If they chose to not, at least you tried. I stopped talking for awhile and now he won’t leave me alone. It’s resurfacing all the pain. ❤️❤️❤️

I'm so sorry to hear that. I definitely know that it's not healing me and is only prolonging the pain, yet can't help it because the slight break I get from the intrusive thoughts feel worth it. Here if you eant to talk ❤️
