I need advice.., and I'll take it 👍🏻
Hello, friends... 🖐🥰
I have a problem with distraction and procrastination.
I've tried numerous exercises and methods, read books, and forced myself to do things, but I haven't succeeded because I'm frustrated and bored.
I know the seriousness of the situation, but I'm not interested.
What do you think I should do to regain my passion and energy for life?

@Saly9italy I would say, look at the problem from a different angle. Use words that are positive identifiers of the cause, rather than negative identifiers of the symptom. Lazy, for example, is a four letter word that comes with all kinds of negative feelings and meanings.
Once you know the cause of the problem, you can work to solve it. But if you don't call it by its proper names, you'll be stuck in the cycle of symptoms.
It's like if there's water on the floor, and you keep mopping it up, but the water is still there... well, that's because the sink is leaking! You have to fix the leaky sink before you can dry the wet floor. Find your leak.

I think procrastination and feeling bored is an item many people face. i had somethings i put off... now later when looking back i am always confused as to why?
Time never stops ---- there is no do overs --- opportunities can be fleeting.... regrets are always the things we did not do. treat time as a gift and a commodity you simply do not know how much you have to spend.
in my case I do not waste it like I used to.
@Saly9italy
I don't know you well, but I don't think you are lazy. Procrastinating is easy to do and most people do it.
I think the answer to your question is a personal one that would be different for everyone. I have to answer your question with a question, I'm sorry... What drives you? What did you dream about when you were a kid? Is there anything you want in life maybe to help others, a certain career, freedom from your situation/career? What is holding you back from achieving your dreams?
Maybe this is something to ponder.
I am a big procrastinator, I usually do it out of spite.
Is someone pushing you to do things and is that when you procrastinate?
The only time I got back to doing what it was that needed doing was when someone else impartial would motivate me. But if it were my wife "nagging" me, what ever it was got put on the back burner.
Hello Saly:
Try taking baby steps. Read one page of a book. Do one exercise. Sometimes if we don’t overwhelm ourselves, we can get more accomplished. Every great achievement starts with one small step. ❤️

What did you love when you were a kid? I reconnected with my childhood hobby and it brought back the spark in life

Micro-goals for a tired brain
Don’t try to rebuild your entire motivation at once. Your brain may be in “shut down” mode from too much input.
Try this:
- Pick one tiny task per day (e.g. “read 1 page,” “stretch for 3 mins,” “watch a video about something beautiful”Make that task about joy, not productivity.
Block the distractions. Make environment productive.
Hi There thanks for sharing openly 🫂💙
It sounds like you’ve been trying really hard to push through the distraction and procrastination, and I can hear how exhausting and discouraging that’s been for you. Feeling frustrated, bored, and unmotivated especially when you know something needs to change can be such a heavy place to sit in.
You're not alone in this. A lot of people go through similar seasons, and it doesn’t mean you're lazy or broken just human. Sometimes when we lose interest, it’s our mind and body asking for something different… maybe not more pressure, but more compassion.
Would you like to explore what’s been draining your energy lately? Or maybe we can think about moments, even small ones, where you did feel a little more alive. No pressure I’m here to walk through this with you, at your pace. 💬✨
