Needing advice and even just some positivity please
Yesterday my fiance and I found out we have to move back to Missouri from Maine. We moved to Maine in our RV and are parked at a house to help finish it while we build a house on property given to us. Things went bad, they went broke so did we and they can't finish the house to stay in this winter.
Long story short we were told the power and water get shut off on Oct. 1st so basically we need to leave by then, we cant stay on the property we were going to build our house on and they had to sell it maybe I honestly don't know.. the conversation got weird and started not making any since but we have to leave.
Fortunately we have a place to go in Missouri but..
A few months after we got here my fiance got injured and had 3 separate surgeries. Neither of us ever found jobs so its been a hard year..
We couldn't afford to keep insurance on the RV or switch registration over since it has just been parked and not moved since we got here.
Does anyone know when I get insurance on it will I be able to just get a temporary tag to get it back to Missouri? Since its Saturday I can't really call anyplace to find out.
Will it need to get a new inspection?
Another problem is I can't drive the RV, driving my car gives me horrible anxiety and my fiance doesn't have a driver's license, we had my Dad drive it out here for us and I am going to have to ask him to help again. We cant easily just take it to get inspected because we cant drive it and arent on good terms currently with the only person we know who could..
I do have a letter to renew my RV plates online from Missouri but the plates expired a few months ago and when I tried to input the pin from the letter nothing showed up so it again is a I can't call until Monday thing.
I'm sort of at a loss as to what to do with my RV because its currently registered in Missouri and expired, we are in Maine. Do I have to switch it over to Maine and then back to Missouri?
Sorry this is fairly jumbled and might be confusing. I'm just in shock and unsure what I should and need to do to move my home.
Thanks for reading.
Gosh, I wish I had the answers for you about all the insurance+plates+RV stuff. You have a lot on your plate, I'm so sorry.
I've struggled with driving, too, I actually still only have my learner's permit.
I really hope everything works out for you and you get the answers you need on Monday.
