“One Percent Better” Challenge!
If you’ve ever read the Slight Edge, you know about this general idea.
Starting December 1st, we are all (yes, that means you, and me, and everyone else who wants to join!) going to do something small that will make our lives 1 percent better every day!
Not sure what this looks like?
Here’s a few examples:
Eat a strawberry along with your cookie
Read one page of a book
Drink two more sips of water
Write one line in your journal
Delete one email
Put your clothes out for the next day
March in place for 5 seconds every time you use the bathroom
Put away one thing that’s near you
Look up the meaning to one word
Text one friend
Drink tea instead of soda for one meal
You get the idea.
BUT!
Don’t go “typical” if you possibly can. Think outside the box. Come up with something super random every day to make your life a TINY bit better! Just 1%. Google it. Ask AI to give you ideas. Ask friends. I don’t care how you do it hehe!
Just post about it and tell us about your adventures! Tag someone, who you think might enjoy this challenge <3
December is OUR month. Let’s CRUSH it! <3
Today I was mad at someone, and instead of just seething, I spoke to them. We had a conversation that made me feel better <3
@jesusredeemedme2425
Thank you for tagging me! I started going to the gym and lifting weights since last week.
Had terrible morning anxiety today, woke up later than usual but instead of getting back in bed I pushed myself for a walk which helped me feel better.
Just realised that writing about it makes me feel better about it than I actually did till now. 😃

Tiny shifts create big change. I am not looking for perfection, just small progress.
Declutter one small thing like my wardrobe.
Walk for 10 minutes more.
Send one warm message to a friend.
Let go of one small irritation.
Celebrate one small win from today.
Hopefully these should work ..😊
@jesusredeemedme2425 I'm gonna start taking hour long walks in my neighborhood
Today I washed most of my dishes in the morning before I had to run errands, so that they wouldn't be a burden when I got home. I usually fall way behind on dish washing on Sundays and Mondays (my weekend), so it's nice to have fewer dishes to wash than usual tomorrow.
Today a jogged with my son in the stroller while singing The Firefighter Song.
Yesterday and the day before I worked on creating a capsule wardrobe. I have all my favorite everyday clothes separated from the rest of my clothes. I'm going to see how many outfits I can put together and I'm going to think of what clothing pieces I may be missing.
I've started journaling ♡
I used the Eisenhower matrix to help me decide the priority of my to-do list. Most things fell in urgent and important, but it helped me to choose my next priority.
The what?
I will try to explain. Make 4 square section on a page and at the top you label urgent/not urgent then on the left side important/not important. You want to focus on the urgent things first especially if they are urgent and important, but if it is not urgent and not important you can probably delete. If not urgent but important it can wait. I have a lot I need/want to do, so this was helpful.
