Peppermint Essential Oil toxicity????? NEED ANSWERS!

Hey, any folks use essential oils orrr know anything abt its toxicity, too much is not good, i accidently got mine under my eye a couple hours ago and then beneath my cheek and undr nose and i did wash it off the first and second time, first time a bit delayed time but i uh suddenly got dizzy at the second time (i used peppermint oil in a spray bottle with water but the oil got on my hands i was using it cus house centipede and it hid and apparently peppermint oil is something they dont like tbh i did just add drops idk about esitated 6-10 around my bed and idk if thats toxic cus apparently 3-5 is toxic im not sure if its inhaling it or something. Well … today i got suddenly dizzy, lightheaded and hard to walk after the second accidental touch, and it was sudden, i did stress quite a bit before it and it was like 3 am (its 5 now..) andit worried me. Told ma she wasnt listening and just starts speaking abt it as if she were in my place or like dismissivly and creating excuses. Mkay, so i research it says u can get it thru the skin and inhalation. Well..that worried me cus on 1 article it said CNS (Central Nervous System) toxicity it said dizzyness, drowsiness, unsteadyness, confusion, slurred speech, headache, blurry vision. That spooked me so i decided to research more and i tried the poison control help online but it said call the number. So i did and i dont know if it helped cus i did try and say as much details as could but idk if they understodo. I said abt the one thru the skin, they said only irratation and allergic reaction, i said symptoms and then they were a bit dismissive saying ofc im tired cus its 5 am. Which yeh but i also didnt feel this tired before at 5 am and also the amount of drops i used 2 days ago concerned me. That sounded dismissive -.- so i lost confidence in telling more and hung up they said it would be more concering if u swallowed it. Im not sure i had but given i was wiping it and also had it on my hand, i mightve slight gotten it on my food but i dont think i had anything related to that so. Idk, not what i expected from poison control , since i read their thing on “call even if its a question” and i thought theyd ask more but yeh that was a bit dissapointing ngl 🤦‍♀️😐

I've been using essential oils for years, lots of good natural benefits.

I can put it in the bath or on my pillow and I haven't had any reactions to it.

It's good that you washed it off as soon as possible, you took precautions and that's sensible.

If you don't feel right using it, just give it away or discard it. I'm hope you'll feel better soon :)

Increased suspiciousness can be a symptom of anxiety.

Idk. You could have been reacting to the peppermint oil. It can be strong, and I’ve had to careful when handling it. If you’re concerned about it, then maybe switch to a gentler mint or consult a naturopath.

If you’re having generalized anxiety, try some breathing exercises. Exercise itself can be a good destressor, as long as you don’t turn that into another trigger. Meditation, but same same advice. I don’t know your situation so really can’t say. This is just very random suggestions I’d give anyone.

Hello so I am an advocate for an esseernsil oil company, may I add number one on the world. If you are buying your essential oils offline or in shops then they are not fully what they say they are. I’m happy I chat to you more about it. This is a subject that Intests me. No pressure at all
