Spring Cleaning
Today I'm cleaning everything, throwing out old things, and finding things I'd long forgot about. Not just physical organizing, also clearing away everything not used on my devices, and trying to finally get some things done I should have long ago. Everyone should try it. It makes life smaller and simple, or you can be like this doggo below v your choice lol.

For me, this is sooooo in progress. Ahhhh, feels good doesn't it? I too, take opportunities to make life smaller and as simplistic as possible (constant goal, less is more, organized space equals organized mind). It feels good to donate, clean things out. I try to leave at least 10% of my space open. It lets the universe know that I am open and willing to receive it's gifts 🎁 should I be found worthy.
I guess, maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago, even when meal planning and making my grocery list....I started "shopping myself first". Going through the pantry, the freezer, seeing what is on hand and creating meals/recipes from that in an effort to clean all of that out also. It's a bit sad if you find things that are "out of code". I don't like doing that kind of thing, tossing things out when I know there are so very many that are hungry in this world. Gives me a way to let the freezer and pantry area kind of clean themselves out with me being quite industrious in the kitchen.
I'm spring cleaning too! 😊 Reminds me that it's a good problem to have, things to clean. Others might not have as much and so it's good for me to appreciate and take care of what it is that I DO have instead of focusing on what might be lacking. Gratitude moments. 😇
The weather got really warm where I'm at and now it's cold again. It represents a missed opportunity. I really wanted to go outside on the back deck, at night, gaze up at the stars, look at the moon, think about how everyone else is looking up at the very same moon that I am, with wishes. dreams, wants and hopes.
"He who hesitates loses". I should have done it while I had the chance as doing so is yet another way to simplify life, let us know how very small we are in the grand scheme of things. Just grateful I got out there during the day, got to feel some sunshine on my face 🌞, got to feel God's love in that special way.

@SparkyGizmo That's good think, I had plans all winter to go out in the warmth soon as it warmed up but I didn't either. I got too locked up in the stay-indoors of winter to do it and also missed the first nice day. But the warm is still coming so its not all lost. That's why it seemed a good time to downsize things since I'm indoors anyway.
