Reminder (I guess): TW Su!c!de mention // my best friend killed herself 3 weeks ago. She called me on the phone in the middle of the night and shot herself, I didn't have her address or parent's number.

I'm still here.. I miss my best friend, I feel guilty for living on without her, I can't help but blame myself for her death, I can't eat or sleep, I have no energy to do anything, I feel I deserve these feelings, it should have been me instead of her, I wish, she should be able to live her life and learn to be happy again.

@DarkShadow420

I am so so sorry to hear about your best friend. I can imagine this must be such a hard time for you.

I can hear that you are feeling a lot of guilt after what happened... Do you want to talk about your friend? Tell me more about them?

I'm really glad that you're here getting support. We are here for you. There is a sub community for Depression Support that may be helpful for you too! You're not alone in this

@DarkShadow420

I can imagine that you are feeling super heavy and hard emotions... Have you tried connecting with a Listener to chat someone about how you're feeling?

@DarkShadow420 Listeners can't really give advice but they are there to Listen to you about the issues you are facing. Sometimes just being able to vent can really help

Hey, I’m sorry that this happened to you. You must be feeling so guilty but you have to keep going. Cherish the memories that you do have with you friend and never forget them. I’m sure that she’s still watching over you and laughing with you in the afterlife.

@DarkShadow420 Hey, I'm so sorry that you had to lose a friend that way. If I know a thing or two about suicide is that it's never the right way to heal pain, it merely leaves the pain to someone else which is what you, her parents, and those who care for her are experiencing right now. All I can give you as an advice is to just allow yourself to grieve, take as long as you need, let the emotions out and try to find a healthy way to cope until you feel like you can move on. It's okay to cry, talk to others, seek your friends or parents for emotional support if you ever need the reassurance. But one thing for certain in all of these scenarios, it is never your fault, ok? Let's make that clear. We can't undo what had happened and thinking about "what if" scenarios is only going to hurt you more and keep you from moving on. Just allow yourself to grieve, but keep on moving forward so the friend that you care about could remain in your heart. When you find peace and happiness in your life one day, she's there.

Another suggestion I could give you is to read articles or videos regarding grief after losing a loved one as a crutch during the hardest times. It's okay, it's not your fault, no one is going to hold anything against you if you wish to be happy again. Don't rush, let time help heal you.
