@Sirpi
Thank you for sharing, I've found this extremely interesting and helpful, especially when it comes to getting feedback and using it as a building block and not seeing it from the framework of a criticism 💜🥰
@Amanda84
Thank you for those words ! :) I really like the way how you mentioned that point about feedback acceptance and working on that. :)
@Sirpi
You are most welcome 🥰
@Sirpi
Important questions to ask Sirpi
Its makes me think about feedback - Why it is taken on well by some and not for others?
Another questions - Is it the tone in which the feedback is being given
Thank you - this is a really good source to relfect
@GoldenRuleJG
Thank you Golden for your kind words! :)
Those are great questions Golden. This one, 'Why are the feedback taken well by some and not by others?',
I think, sometimes a person may not be ready to accept feedback until they experience something that makes it meaningful. I also feel cultural identify plays a part also. They receiver might be having different context for the same feedback. Sometimes, the feedback may be challenging them too much. Instead of accepting, they reject it to protect their mental balance.
I read a quote online which said, "The seed lands, but only sprouts when the season is right".
The other question, 'Is it the tone in which the feedback is being given?'.
I think, the tone does play an important role in feedback. It carries the intent. It may show if the feedback was meant to support or shame. The person may forget the words of the feedback, still they may always remember in which tone it was said or how it made them feel.
Those answers are totally my point of view about the topic. I think there are no right or wrong answers for some questions. :)
