Tired of being judged
Hi everyone 🤍
I’m not sure how to say this, but I’ll try to keep it real.
I actually like talking to people deep conversations, meaningful moments, just feeling understood. But the people around me always seem to judge or ask things that feel too personal.
They make me feel like I have to explain myself all the time. Or worse, like something’s wrong with me for wanting a little privacy.
So I end up staying quiet, not because I don’t want to talk but because I don’t feel safe doing it with them.
Does anyone else feel this way?
@iixic I'm really sorry you're feeling this way. Please know that you're not alone in this, I have similar feelings 🤍 Sending lots of love your way! ❤️❤️
@iixic
Its important to be heard.
Understood and respected.
If you like privacy, this is a boundary that should be respected. Not prodded, not pried, you've a right to feel comfortable.
We are all different in our approach .
No one has a right to tell us what we need but us 💜💕
Yes I am also like your personality..I like to talk and communicate with people a lot but I don't get the same response from.them..This stems from.the fact that I don't have anyone at home to talk this.much so m.basocally lonely..people don't know about my life.. they see only one side..and they get annoyed when I ask them few personal questions..it's just I'm trying to initiate a conversation
I've learned to take each interaction slowly, moving at my snail pace and not their sped up one. At times I deflect or just say, sorry I'm not comfortable discussing that. People should accept that you have boundaries and respect you for it.
If I'm not sure someone is genuine, then I'll share something small and see how they react to it. At least you know, others struggle with this too :)
@iixic Hi! I totally understand what you mean. I’ve faced social situations similar to the ones you’re describing where they’re judgy or it just feels like they just can’t understand what I’m saying. It can be really hard and frustrating to connect with them. I want to let you know that you’re not alone and that your feelings are completely valid!! When you feel uncomfortable talking to them, it’s completely fine to take a step back and distance yourself from them until you’re ready to come back (or fully step away from that relationship if needed). You’re bound to find someone that you’ll connect with, even though it’ll take time! Just keep putting yourself out there, try to spark meaningful conversations, and no matter what, remember that you’re heard and seen and loved!! Reach out to us whenever you wanna talk 🫶 sending you so much love, hugs and prayers!!
Yess , I do feel the same I feel u , I get judged for keeping certain things in my life private n some ppl just say I'm defensive n it's just tht they don't know their like their boundry
@iixic, maybe my perspective helps. Maybe it won't.
I as a boy, my childhood was short, maybe I saw things I shouldn't have seen. That tender age of 10, things changed, I saw the dark side of relationships and connections, how someone could devalue someone so easily and walk away as if nothing happened.
In school, my colleagues used to take advantage of my simplicity and truthful nature, use it for their own benefit. Narcissists are like that, they can't see others rise. Judgement is passed by those people who don't have someone in themselves. It's better to not judge while you are still building yourselves.
So coming back to the topic you just shared, so one of my friend too insulted me because I showed him the mirror that he refused to see. I was heavily judged at places, even called an outsider or someone for whom nobody cares
Even that comments of fragile male ego, despite fighting resiliently for my mom and dad, it hurt, but somehow that silence said everything. Judgement was so high that I was even called a liability, even though I wasn't liable for any collateral damage to anyone.
But I will give you a tip. I too lost many people just because I ain't like the others in my age slab. You may as well as try finding a friend in yourself. It's hard to be silent I know, but soon you will realise, talking less makes you more wiser than you may not know

I hope you are feeling better now. It is normal that you have thoughts of thinking you can't trust on talking deep with others. I have the similar personality too. Sometimes talking too much might give us a feeling like "am I giving away too much?". It gives a feeling of "less talking, less asking, less explaining". Being quiet can make us feel more safe and comfortable, we can choose to slow down ourselves and put our feelings in the 1st place without getting judge.
I hope you have a good day and good luck! You are not alone. d(d'∀')
Hello....I am sure u must not b telling anything about yourself....in that way they will not b concerned.....But if ever you try to make a close bond with someone and share few parts about yourself....it's natural they will b concerned about knowing what happened to u......They r not judging u....It's their care......Don't b confused....
Judgement is when they start questioning your actions and commenting on them. ..Either u be aloof and never try to go closer...or value the care....It's normal.......Try to learn trusting those whom u liked and shared....Don't keep on doubting yourself.....
