WANTED: Art Ideas!
I only put this question under “General Support” so a wider audience will see it :)
So, I have three goals: Get back into my art, make Christmas cards for people, and give myself an alternate option instead of overeating.
Can you help me?
I need inspo…
So I draw EVERYTHING on my Christmas cards. I don’t need Christmas/winter-themed stuff… That stuff is a dime a dozen, so easy to find.
I want THINGS to draw. Random things. Especially things that would suit guys, because I have a lot of female-oriented cards made already.
Think: Windmills, dinosaurs, rats, pinecones, Toothless, Donkey Kong, cottagecore, whatever :) Like, random nouns. Things that will be easy enough to Google.
Nothing too complicated please… Hippos with long hair fighting ninjas wearing tutus? Impossible to find on Google lol

I drew seashells outlining a blue-green Christmas card. There are nautilus shells, starfish, long thin shells, round shells, and an oyster with a pink pearl inside. All the shells are outlined in light blue and brown, to simulate the sea (Mom’s idea) <3

I drew a carousel horse in honor of you <3
There are so many colors! The horse is brown, with a green saddle. There are decorative parts on the horse that are green and purple. His mane is orange, and his bridle is pink. The carousel pole has red stripes <3

It’s a planet ice cream cone!
Jupiter, Earth, and another planet are sitting on an ice cream cone. The ice cream melting down off it is the black night sky, with white stars in it, like chunks of chocolate in mint ice cream <3

@jesusredeemedme2425 Hmm... I'll say, an octopus with a beard!... I don't know. 🤣 I could also say maybe a leaf but pictured next to some glasses and a coffee mug if you wanted something like that, or a banana paired with a lime as a unisex design.

I drew a frog with acrylic brush markers, facing toward the left, on light green cardstock. He has those little knobby toes that are so cute! <3 He's outlined in darker green, with lighter green spots on his legs, and lighter green, which is almost a goldish yellow, on the striped patterns on his back. He's outlined in gold, and the gold outline and the stripes on his back are shiny, making him absolutely GLOW <3

Cute animals with silly sayings. First thing that came to mind is a cute bat with the saying, "I'm feeling batty." Something silly like that. One of my favorite artists does this, but his sayings are always filled with cuss words.
