WANTED: Art Ideas!
I only put this question under “General Support” so a wider audience will see it :)
So, I have three goals: Get back into my art, make Christmas cards for people, and give myself an alternate option instead of overeating.
Can you help me?
I need inspo…
So I draw EVERYTHING on my Christmas cards. I don’t need Christmas/winter-themed stuff… That stuff is a dime a dozen, so easy to find.
I want THINGS to draw. Random things. Especially things that would suit guys, because I have a lot of female-oriented cards made already.
Think: Windmills, dinosaurs, rats, pinecones, Toothless, Donkey Kong, cottagecore, whatever :) Like, random nouns. Things that will be easy enough to Google.
Nothing too complicated please… Hippos with long hair fighting ninjas wearing tutus? Impossible to find on Google lol

You can give me SUPER random words, and make me do word association with it! Like you could say “fly”, and I could draw a bat, “run”, and I could draw a baseball, or “coffee”, and I could draw the front facade of a coffee shop :)

Oh my goodness, there are sooooo many good ideas here already, I can't imagine I have anything to add.
But just in case, since I love all things animals and nature, but I also like creative interpretations...
Merge two animals, like a giraffe and ... an octopus, and see what you get.
Or maybe zebra + alligator + ???
How about a snake wearing eyeglasses and reading a book
How about a snake that twists itself into a pretzel
Cat riding a skateboard
Cat on a surfboard riding a big wave
Owl made entirely of intricate little squiggly designs
Owl playing a guitar
Okay, I'm out of ideas :)

we make card too have for many years we find men like deer and other animals at christmas time we put hats on them and scarfs sometime even mittens with snow around them this can be like big white glitter we found embossing can be fun can buy the heating gun and embossing powder even can get a like pen marker to like put on the lines you drawl so can emboss a drawing you done really looks cool

your welcome we been doing it for years we did not know until about 5 yrs ago that they make a pen that clear that you can put over lines you draw so could emboss own drawings that make it way cool it like the lines come alive as when emboss it rises the part that embossed
