What keeps you coming back?
Hello fellow Cupsers! My name is Kristy for those of you that don’t know me. And I’m a listener here on 7 cups. I have been around since October 2014 off and on. Tonight in the listener support room, we were talking about what we love about 7 cups and what keeps us coming back. My answers are:
1. I love seeing the growth and change in the members over the years.
2. Long term friendships that I’ve made with other listeners. No matter how much time passes, we pick up right where we left off.
3. New relationships with new listeners and watching them learn and grow as listeners and eventually take on leadership roles.
What about you? Whether you are a listener or a member, what keeps you coming back to 7 cups?

@Kristynsmama
Well here I can openly say what's on my mind. I can vent out what's bothering to a person who won't judge me. I find it easier opening up to people who don't really know me in personally. Cause it makes things more fair.
I had made friends here from different countries of the world. It's nice meeting people who also share the same and could understand what mental health is about.
Person's who will see me as a sane human that is dealing with so much and not a patient that needs to be hospitalized or given that odd look by the people.
Thank you. :)
@Kristynsmama
The people is what brings me back, I love talking to everyone it's a pawsome feeling
@Kristynsmama I like the topic discussions. It helps me focus on some of the challenges I face and other people's answers give me answers.
I also find that people at 7 Cups for the most part really care about each other.
There is a lot of work gone into making 7 Cups the supportive site it is.
The Therapy Community is my home base on 7 Cups. Many people turn to it for support.
I also like the frequent support threads that therapists from 7 Cups Online Therapy put up. It is a wonderful community at 7 Cups.
I've been on here for almost a week now and I have been finding this community quite lovely. I really love it here I've made a few friends on here as well along my way to keeping my emotional self stable and taking care of my well being as well too and hope to continue to strengthen myself and continue to make more friends here ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love this community I say what's on my mind and vent as much as I want and get the loving support and listening ears that I can feel less alone at times and know that I can get support I need and want 💕💕💕 Wish I had known about 7 cups alot sooner than I did. Could have used it!!!!
I'm beyond thankful for 7 cups and all the love and support ❤💕❤💕❤💕❤
A year not a week lol ❤😍❤
@Kristynsmama I know this is a kind of late reply but as a new listener, I guess I feel comfort every time I come on to help people. I may not be the best at being a listener, but I know that if I keep trying and keep pursuing in coming on to help at least one person a day then I might be able to help so many people! The reason I even became a listener is because I hate the thought of someone having to deal with their emotions alone and having no one to share it with, as I know exactly how that feels because I was on Better Help, and no one ever replied. I just hate that some people bear their emotions alone and I don't want anyone to go through that.
@Snak3Wolf
Thabk you for your thoughtful response. I feel much the same way. Your skills will improve over time! If you help just 1 person a day over a year- just think of the impact you will have. That’s 365 people who don’t have to face life’s challenges alone! I love the way you think!
As Always,
Kristy
@Kristynsmama Well, I guess what keeps me coming back to 7 Cups is the feeling of making a positive impact. Helping people through their struggles and offering support when they need it is pretty rewarding. It's like being part of a community where we're all there for each other. Plus, the connections and conversations with people from all walks of life—it's something special. It's just nice to know you can make a difference, even if it's in a small way.
The way there’s a lot of support and understanding.
