What’s One Thing You’re Proud of Today?
Hey everyone 💛
Life can move so fast that we sometimes forget to pause and recognize the small victories — the quiet moments of courage, effort, or growth. Whether it’s something big or something that might seem tiny to others, you deserve to be proud of yourself.
So I wanted to ask:
👉 What’s one thing you’re proud of today?
It could be anything:
-
You got out of bed even though it was hard.
-
You sent that message you were scared to send.
-
You took a deep breath instead of reacting.
-
You made someone smile.
-
Or even just... you made it through the day.
No achievement is too small here. Let’s celebrate each other’s wins, no matter the size. You never know who might feel inspired or encouraged by your words. 💜
Looking forward to reading your moments. I’m proud of you already just for showing up. 🌱

I finished "Elijah of Buxton" today, and drew an origami elephant <3
@jesusredeemedme2425
That’s so special. Elijah of Buxton is such a moving story, and making an origami elephant feels like a quiet tribute to everything it represents—memory, strength, and gentleness. I love that you honored the experience in your own creative way. <3
You’ve read it?? I had never heard of it before I found it at a book sale lol
I love how you described the drawing… It makes it sound deep and majestic <3
@jesusredeemedme2425
I did not read but I hear about it. And thank you!! That drawing is deep and majestic, you captured something really special with it. Can’t wait to see what you share next 💖
@Eman144 well I've felt like I could break today...I have been feeling really sad and a bit angry.... and I guess I'm proud that inspite of how I feel I've been holding up... just patiently watching myself feel and observe everything and hanging in ...
@Creamyyy
That takes so much quiet strength—to feel like you’re breaking, and still choose to hold space for yourself, to keep going without shutting down or running away from what you feel. That’s not just “hanging in”—that’s resilience in its purest form.
It’s okay to feel sad, angry, or overwhelmed. Those emotions don’t make you weak—they mean you’re human, and that you care deeply. And the fact that you're still here, still observing, still present with yourself—that's something to be proud of. Truly. You’re doing better than you think. 💛
@Eman144 I was proud of getting through a hectic week, getting everything accomplished that needed to be done and also allowing myself seeing I don't have to be perfect, everything doesn't have to slide into place or be wrapped with a nice bow, sometimes sufficient still gets the job done 🥰
@Amanda84
That’s such a powerful realization! Sometimes just getting through the chaos and doing enough is more than enough. Perfection can wait—progress and self-compassion are what truly matter. Proud of you for holding space for both your achievements and your humanity. Keep celebrating those wins, big and small! 🥰✨
One thing I’m proud about is moving forward constantly and getting better. Though I’m letting go of old friendships, I can’t wait for the new ones to come!
@Eman144 nothing
I I didn’t try to talk to anyone who didn’t want to talk to me
I didn’t try to talk to people
I had a migraine and fell unwell today. But I still did some laundry and cleaned the kitchen to help my family out.
@Lovelyrose62
That’s honestly really admirable. Migraines can completely knock you out, so the fact that you still pushed through to do something helpful for your family says a lot about your strength and your heart. It’s okay to acknowledge that even small things are big wins when you're not feeling well. I hope you’re giving yourself a little credit for that.
Make sure you’re resting too, though. You deserve care just as much as you give it. How are you feeling now?
@Eman144
I am disappointed in the fact that I didn't continue writing my 'thank you cards' (I am graduating highschool). Also I just don't really get that custom, like I understand it fundamental, but I don't know how people actually get joy or feel something from a card. Tho that might be because of my extremely different view of the world and or my difficulty feeling emotions. The only card I really 'felt' something from was one where their young children signed the card in messy handwriting.
Despite all that and my rambling (sorry for writing so much) I am proud that I sorted all of my gray Legos out of my smallest LEGO box into three different ziplock bags for the difference grey types, flat, brick, and unique. I also made a super miniature Providence-class dreadnought to go along with my super miniature Venator-class star destroyer.
Thanks for reading! :3 🩵
@7Bear7
Hey, thanks for sharing that it’s actually a really thoughtful and honest reflection.
First, it totally makes sense to feel disconnected from the “thank you card” tradition. It’s one of those social customs that works great for some people, especially if they enjoy written expressions of gratitude or sentiment, but for others, it just doesn’t click and that’s completely okay. You're not broken or lacking anything for not feeling something from them in the same way others might. That one card that did connect with you where the kids signed it in their messy handwriting says a lot. It wasn’t about the formality or the tradition; it was raw, real, and human in a way that broke through the usual surface-level stuff. That’s a good insight to hold on to.
And honestly? Organizing your Legos like that and building tiny Star Wars ships? That’s amazing. There’s so much creativity, patience, and care in doing that, and you should be proud of it. It might not be a “thank you card,” but it is a form of expression and probably a much more meaningful one for you. That matters.
Also, no need to apologize for “rambling.” It didn’t come across that way at all. You wrote with clarity and self-awareness, and it was really cool to read.
Congrats on graduating. That’s huge. Keep doing your thing, in your way. 🩵
